{A few weeks later}

"Annabeth?!  Oh my gods, where is she?!" 

Annabeth's dad stumbles into the infirmary, looking extremely out of place compared to everyone else.  I have Annabeth in my arms, laying her head against my chest, while Piper and Jason sit at the end of the bed.  Leo woke up about four days ago.  Waking up, his first words were, and of course, in a horrible British accent, 'I DEMAND SOMEONE HELP, SIR. STUBBY'!!!  He now has a bed right next to Annabeth's. Hades took Nico down to the underworld where Persephone promised to nurture him back to health.  I felt pleased that both Hades and his wife looked genuinely extremely concerned. 

"Where is she?!!!  I demand to see my daughter!!!" Annabeth's father orders.

"Fred, over here!" I call.

"Oh my goodness!  Annabeth, sweetheart?" he picks her up from my arms.  My first instinct is to break his neck for taking her away from me, but then I remember that this is the one man I should be afraid of.

"She's going to be out for a while, but at least she can now breathe on her own," Will comes over and shakes Fred's hand.

"Thank you for saving her Doctor.  My gods, that's extremely weird to say when you're so young."

"I get that a lot," Will shrugs and smiles politely.  Then Fred looks to me.

"What-happened?!" he asks sternly.  "And don't even THINK of sparing me any details. She has fading scars from previous wounds.  This has been going on for a while." 

     I scratch the back of my neck nervously, a nervous scowl on my face before starting from the beginning.  I might as well tell him everything so he knows what she's been through, the emotional side as well as the physical.  I need to pay for my actions.  After I tell him every detail...minus the sexual parts, though I did tell him about how I took her virginity.  Jason looks at me like I just signed for a death wish.  Fred then takes a deep breath, closes his eyes, and slowly gets up, like the only thing that's keeping him from killing me is Annabeth in his arms. 

"Piper, do you have your things ready?" he asks calmly, his expression blank.

"Uh..yea..just let me grab my bag," she says before getting up and getting her suitcase in the corner.  She gives me a tight hug.  "See you soon.  I know it's dangerous, but call me if you need to talk," she smiles sadly before giving me a quick kiss on the cheek.  I give her a very small, soft smile. 

"Love you too, Pipes," I say sadly.

"You know I hate that," she chuckles. 

I shrug, "It fits, deal with it."  She rolls her eyes, then looks to Leo.

"There are so many things I want to say to you that I don't even know where to start," she smiles, although it doesn't reach her eyes.

"How about you just call me an idiot and get it over with, beauty queen.  I have it coming.  You know I'm not good with goodbyes so let's just go with I'll see you soon," he laughs sadly.

"Sheesh," she rolls her eyes with a laugh and gives him a long hug with a kiss on the forehead.  "And you know I hate that nickname too."

"Love you more," he says.  She smiles sweetly down at him before looking toward Jason.

"And you," she smiles slyly, sass clear in her voice.

"What about me?" he sasses back, giving her a devilish smirk.  She chuckles sexily before tugging the neck of his shirt toward her, making him jolt forward, bringing him in for a passionate kiss.  "I love you so much, Piper."  They close their eyes as he puts his forehead to hers.  "I going to miss you," he smiles.
