Chapter 72
(Annabeth)
🔱I'm Yours🔱
MATURE CONTENT

A blissful forever. That's what it feels like to have Percy's soft, full lips passionately molded against mine.  Our mouths seem to dance with each other as I grab his collar to deepen the kiss.  I don't hear a thing but the romantic music in the background.  I feel soft rose petals falling on us from somewhere above.  It's just him and I, bonded together in every way possible.  And I have never been more happy, although that's a veg word to describe what I'm feeling.

I feel Percy abruptly being pulled away by Grover and I pout...I actually pout!  Everyone laughs.  I guess we were taking too long to separate.  My hearing of the crowd slowly comes back and I blush as I see that most of them are either smirking or have discussed face expressions - my mother.  I smile as Percy laughs, a laugh that brings my happiness to an eleven on the scale.  He brings me into his arms with the most dazzling, most handsome smile and picks me up by the waist before spinning me around.  I laugh and kiss him again, one that's not as long as the first, but it still makes my knees buckle just as much and makes my heart melt into liquid mush.

...

The dancing and mingling start up pretty quickly and Percy never lets go of my hand as we say hello to our guests.

"Aphrodite," I bow my head in respect before looking back at her.  "Thank you for marrying Percy and me," I smile.  Percy then squeezes my hand lightly just to say 'I love you'.

"You're most welcome, my two lovebirds," she smiles her perfect gleaming white teeth at us.

"Question," Percy says a bit disrespectfully.  "Why in the legitimate hell did Annabeth get pregnant?  Not that we're not pleased, but I'm not one for surprises," Percy says a little angrily.  I too want to know this question so I look back at the love goddess.  She simply smiles warmly and sighs.

"Your child needed to be born sooner than expected because of simply one thing," she says.

"And that is?" I ask, internally getting a bit annoyed.

"You want them to be around the same age as their future loved one don't you?" she asks cutely.

"Oh..." I say.  I honestly wasn't expecting that to be the reason.

"So you're why the tattoo didn't work?" Percy asks.  Aphrodite nods.

"Sorry, kids, but you don't see who needs to fall in love with who like I do," she says matter a factly.

"So the tattoo will work now?" Percy asks skeptically.

"Cross my heart," she says, making an X over her chest.

...

I have my blue rose bouquet in hand,  I'm still so nervous for her as I turn around while all the unmarried girls go behind me.  Everyone begins to count.  One...two...THREE!  I toss the flowers into the air and turn around just in time to see Jason's hand fly forward, making the wind blow the bouquet right into Piper's hands.  She looks to the left to see him, her face filled with shock, her eyes start filling with tears as Jason walks over to her with a little black box in his hand.

"What?" she whispers, putting her hand to her mouth.

"Piper...my badass princess?" he smiles shyly, getting on one knee.  She nods as she starts to cry happily, tears streaming down her cheeks.

"Will you be my badass queen and marry me?" he smiles.  She nods quickly.

"Yes," she sobs.  "Yes.  Yes.  A million times yes!" she lunges at him, putting her arms around his neck and kissing him.  He puts her ring on her finger.
