A loud scream echoed throughout the Prime Kindergarten. I watched in pure horror as I saw the corruption crawl up my lover's body. Her perfect skin crawling with a ghastly green coating. I watched as those Crystal Gems unfused (Steven and Amethyst) and watched the scene play out in front of them. My Jasper...
I quickly aided to her side, though I was quickly pushed away. A scratch buried deep into my skin. Blood coating my shirt.
"No, stay out of this, (Y/N)!" Jasper hissed softly.
Her wide eyes filled with fear and horror. It was because of that damn corrupted gem...my perfect, perfect, perfect Jasper was ruined. To make matters worse, the green, tiny gem stabbed a piece of shrapnel into her gut. She quickly disappeared into her gem. I quickly secured it in my arms and ran. I had no clue where but, I knew it would be somewhere safe. Where her and I could be safe and away from those Crystal Gems. Somewhere we could be happy together and not hide our love.
