"I missed dinner last night, and breakfast and lunch. Never got pizza or wings." I smiled softly and chuckled at our grumbling tummies. They seemed to always know exactly what the rest of our bodies needed. But they'd have to wait a few moments. I smiled and searched those amazing eyes. They were still bloodshot, her pretty face was still puffy from crying. I was pretty sure I looked a wreck. I put one hand on the small of her back, the other on her cheek. I sat a little straighter to improve my reach, leaned in and kissed her good and well. I kept it slow and tender and avoided slipping my tongue past her teeth. I needed that physical connection, the passion, and desire, but I needed love and patience more. Her lack of trust in me, however misguided, really hurt deep but it didn't change my love and need for her. Not one bit. It did change my perspective. A had a slightly uphill battle. It was a small gradient, I hoped, it would turn out fine.

I mentioned a word, a keyword. She'd catch it eventually. I'd just keep hinting until she did. I didn't get to have that conversation with Brad. I smiled and let the kiss slip away. "We should take care of our hangries, get past our sleepies if needed and then have a serious conversation, so we can get on with the make-up sex. Personally, I am a huge fan of just sex whenever because we want to, but make-up sex is important and soothing."

It felt good and right for him to kiss me again. It was the gentle reassurance that I needed to help move past the anger and the hurt. I blushed. Sex was a given in my mind too. "Definitely need to take care of hangries. I'm not sleepy, but I could use a shower, and no offense, but you could too." Did he say something about being married to a jailbird? I was going to let that one slide for now. "Your place or mine?"

"I have all that I need here." I pulled her into me, wrapping my arms tight around her back. If I kept that up we'd miss dinner again. My body would always react to hers. It knows where it belongs. There was no point in that. I was hangry. I moaned softly. "Hangry sex is worse than angry or confused sex." I let her go. "I need to get up." I smiled. What my body wanted was obvious. Want my heart needed I'd have to tell her. "You have all that you need at my place. Why don't we go out for wings and take a pizza to my place so we can have it in the morning?" I started to shift her weight back down my legs and away from my rising body.

That sounded like a plan to me. "Wings to go, or a quick shower first?" If we were going somewhere public I needed to fix some things. He was sliding me off of his lap for reasons that were becoming very apparent. I took that moment to pack up my laptop and put that bag by the door.

"Shower, then wings, then pizza, then my place, for talk and sleepings. You better go first. I doubt I could behave if we were to shower together and I need to behave." I caught her carefully as she was moving about. She put her laptop bag by the door, she probably hadn't finished her work. "Do you need to finish," I asked as I slipped her into my arms and kissed her until I was dizzy. Damn! I missed that kiss and the way it sizzled through me. I turned her towards the bathroom and stepped away from her. I looked over at her couch. It was a little small but it would do. I shook my head. "No. Wait. Talk first." I whispered to myself. "You better go jump in that shower, little lady," I said loud enough to be heard clearly.

"A few quick edits and then I need to send It off. It's not due for three days yet, but you know me." I surrendered to his kiss. This is definitely where I always wanted to be. How could I have been so stupid? That damage was going to take some time to repair. He steered me off in the direction of the shower. I turned when I thought I heard him whisper something. He caught my eyes and told me to jump in the shower. A little bit of Dominant Avi had slid into his voice and it sent chills down my spine. I wasted no time heading to my bedroom.
