Part 3

Mara's P.O.V

I arrived at the beach to find Owen sat with a group of other people who I didn't recognise.

"Finally. I was starting to wonder whether you were coming" Owen stood up and walked towards me.

"Are you not gonna introduce us"? One of the guys laughed.

"Oh you're right, where are my manners. Mara, this is, Jacob, Tyler, Adam and Charlotte. Everyone, this is Mara"

I returned a few hellos and smiled in their directions.

"Well now that's out of the way, how about we get the party started" Owen stood up, passing everybody a beer, including myself.

Beer after beer and drink after drink I soon found myself incapable of standing, let alone driving. Plus the fact I had already missed both the 9 o'clock and the 11 o'clock curfews. 

"Owen, can you take me home"? I asked, checking the time on my phone to see it was 1:27am.

"Come on Princess, the party's only just started" He replied, putting his arms around my waste forcefully and proceeding to kiss my neck.

"Stop it" I asked, laughing it off.

But he didn't stop.

"Owen get off of me"

He ignored my wishes and continued.

I broke free from his embrace and hit him.

"Damn why you being so uptight? Its just a bit of fun"

"I want to go home" I ordered.

"Well then go home. Nobody's stopping you. But I'm not leaving so you can find some other jackass to take you"

"You're a fucking asshole" I picked up my things and started walking towards Colby's car.

After debating it to myself for about 30 minutes I picked up my phone and called him.

Colby- Mara? What's going on? Where are you?

Me- Colby I need help. I've drunk to much and I can't drive and everything is going so wrong and I'm scared. Please come and get me.

I couldn't stop the tears from coming out and soon realised my voice was cracking up.

Colby- I'm coming. You just need to take deep breaths and calm down. Where bouts are you? I'll get Sam.

Me- No please don't. I don't want him to know I'm upset or what Owen did.

Colby- What did Owen do?

I could feel his voice tensing and the anger and frustration became his tone.

Me- I'll explain everything when you get here. I'm at the beach.

Colby- Okay well I've got Elton's car keys as he's letting me use them. I'll be there soon, I promise. Just don't move and stay where you are.

Me- Thank you so much

Colby- Its okay. Just sit tight. I'm almost there.

The phone line hung up and within ten minutes Colby had shown up.

But, just as he did Owen was also walking in my direction.

"Come on Princess, come back and enjoy the party" Owen yelled as he got closer and closer just as Colby was getting out of the car.

"She's not going anywhere with you jackass" Colby came and stood beside me, taking my hand in his to calm my shaking nerves.

"Ooooh, your Knight in shining armour has arrived to save you" Owen laughed, walked up to Colby.
