'Dammit Mara, what do you want from me'? He asks, 'I don't want anything, Colton. What I want, you can't give me. So, all I ask is you keep your distance'.
'So, what? You and I just never talk again?' He takes a step towards me.
'Hey, not like I'd be the first girl you kissed and then didn't speak too. Don't sweat it, Colton. I'm sure there are a lot of other girls just waiting to jump at the chance for a shot with you' I reply sarcastically.
'But, Mara, you aren't like those other girls. I can't explain it, but you do something to me, you make me feel, different' he pauses, 'but, I'd hurt you. I'm not..' he begins, but I cut him off, 'A relationship guy. I get it, Colton. But that's the problem. I might not be like other girls, but, you're exactly like the majority of high school boys. I'm sorry, but you need to leave' I demand.
