Fairytale

Every man I know tell me they're right,
They whisper their own words to my ears,
Telling me about how life is a fairytale,
Without proof,I live by the words like it's a rule.

Every girl I know try to fit in them,
While chasing their crowns,
They left their shoes that once fit like a home,
When their kingdoms started to crumple,
They started to scream for help,
Asking for the hands of prince charming
Or a kiss from the handsome man.

That poisoned apple, that counterfeit crown and that cunning chess game,
I smelled the horrifying truth from the very beginning,
Hoping for the happy ending,
So I jump into the rabbit hole,
Thinking it was the fairytale that awaits.
