Chapter 13

Nora woke in the woods, a soft blanket laid over her body with a foggy mind and her necklace the only thing that stayed on her.

Her head resting on what seemed to be a folded jumper with folded jeans and some black ankle boots sat beside her head but all Nora could do was try and figure out how she got there. Sitting up slowly a dull pain coated all her bones as she held the blanket up to her chest hiding her nakedness
"You've been busy" Elijah's voice catches her ears off to the side where she could see Elijah leaning against a tree and Niklaus - he too was naked - on the floor with out a blanket like she was.

"That was amazing" Niklaus whispers and stood making Nora look away down to the clothes she realised are her own, how did Elijah get to them? Perhaps they were ones in the wash? "How long has it been?" He asks pulling on his trouser's first, Nora reached for the jumper sucking in a breath as she moved when a pain shot up her spine. That's the down side to being three species, sure a vampire has healing but spending time as a wolf plus not having blood and being part witch has it down sides.

"Almost two days" Elijah responds "full moon came and went. The both of you remained wolfs" at the mention of both Niklaus looked Elijah where Nora sat grasping the blanket, a look of pain in her eyes.

"Nora was right. We can change at will. It's good to know" he wore a smirk, a smirk of amusement, an over joyed feeling rushing threw his body "I remember every single kill" Nora still couldn't move, that pain in her bones still there, a dull pain until encouraged "I remember every single kill" Niklaus spoke as if it were a brilliant thing, as if he found pride in his knowledge of taking life.

"Yes, I've been cleaning up your little mess along the way" Elijah told.

"Just like old times, brother" Nora bravely glanced at her brother's thankful Niklaus had his jeans on and felt her necklace becoming relieved it never left her just like the spell had said it wouldn't, she honestly didn't believe that spell when she read it but James was so curtain that she had to try it.

"You've had your fun. I believe we have a bargain" Elijah's voice pulled Nora from her memories of James and looked back to her brother's.

"That's right" Niklaus mused with fake confusion as he pulled on one boot "now, what was it again?" He and Elijah shared a short look, Elijah not looking amused at all when he glanced over to Nora becoming worried at the fact she hadn't gotten dressed yet nor moved "oh, yeah. Wait. I remember that's it. You wish to be reunited with our family" Nora didn't like the sound of that, how Niklaus worded it. She knew him too well.

"You gave me your word, Niklaus" Elijah reminded dusting off Niklaus' jacket, he had both shoes on now pulling on his shirt.

"What kind of brother would break his bond? Even though you did try to kill me" Niklaus was not going to do what he promised in the way Elijah thinks.

"I could have" Elijah pointed out holding up the jacket for Niklaus to slip his arms into "but I didn't"

"No one can" Niklaus told speaking over his shoulder adjusting his jacket "not even you" he turned to face his brother "relax, Elijah. All is forgiven"

"Where are they?"

"You need to lighten up. I'll bring you to them soon enough" Niklaus turned to find Nora still sat on the floor holding the blanket to her chest tightly, the clothes untouched beside her "Nora, sweetheart. What's wrong?" He approached his sister with concern followed by Elijah.

"I hurt" she admits "I don't heal like you do, Niklaus. It still hurts" her eyes flicked to Elijah who's mind almost instantly clicked on why that is and he realized then that his little sister isn't as strong as he thought. He figured by that statement that Nora wasn't truly immortal but she is it just takes longer for her to heel. Worried Niklaus bit into his own wrist crouching beside Nora and let her drink.
