Alaric
I was in my office, doing pack work when soft crying distracted me.
I knew that crying was from my mate.
I rushed to her room to see her there, softly crying with her eyes closed.
Maybe she had a bad dream?
I gently shook her, not wanting to hurt her.
She opened her red, swollen, puffy blue eyes.
"What's wrong?" I asked. She just sat there, looking at me. "Tell me princess, what's wrong?" I asked again.
"I saw my mom. For years i finally saw my mom. She was beautiful, Alpha" she said, her eyes looking bright, as if she was thinking about something so precious to her.
My heart melted looking at her. Although the fact that she called me alpha kinda upsets me.
"You can call me Alaric, love" i told her. She looks pretty shocked "o-okay, Al- i mean Alaric"
Oh god, i've never loved my name so much before.
"Your whipped" My stupid wolf said. "Shut up or i wont let you meet her" he quickly shut up.
I was cut off my thoughts by a hand on my cheek.
I noticed Alice's hand was caressing my cheek.
She looked into my eyes and blushed.
She looked so cute.
I was about to kiss her when a stupid knock interrupted us.
"Come in" i groaned. This better be important.
The doctor whos name i forgot came in with what looked like vitamins. I'm pretty sure its for her.
"Alice its time for you to take your vitamins." He said. I took the vitamins and a glass of water and gave it to her.
"How do you feel, love?" I asked "pretty good, atleast better that before" she answered "im sorry again. Once you get out of here, i promise i'll make it up to you" i promised
"i forgive you, i mean, your my mate. We are supposed to love each other, and holding grudges to other people especially you would bring us to nothing" she answered
I knew she was a girl who's so innocent and had a big golden heart. I don't deserve her. But me being the selfish man that i am, shes mine. And im happy to say that.
I was so lucky to have her in my life. I'll protect her forever. Even if it means risking my life.
