Valentine's Day Special

Third POV

Eren woke up with a slight start, hand shifting around to find the alarm and turn it off. He sat up in the his bed, rubbing the sleep from his eyes, as his other hand drifted to the space next to him, searching for his boyfriend.

When he didn't feel anything, he stopped rubbing his eyes and glanced over to see the space empty. The only thing that was there was one deep red rose, next to it was a ornate gold card.

Interest spiked, Eren reached for the card and rose, picking them up gently. He put rose up to his nose delicately, and sniffed a bit, enjoying the scent. Then he started to read over the card.

'Good morning beautiful. Did you sleep well? I hope you did. I just wanted to say quickly that there will be clues for you my love, and you'll have find where they lead to, to find me. Ok, here's your first clue.

Where do we go as soon as we wake up?

Simple I know, but I hope you have fun my angle, I love you.'

Eren smiled, and made his way out of bed to the kitchen, rose and card in hand. That was always where they went as soon as they awoke to eat with one another, before getting ready for whatever they had to do.

Getting near the kitchen, Eren sniffed, smelling the sweetness of syrup and chocolate pancakes. When he finally got into the kitchen he saw a plate of warm chocolate pancakes, syrup, and bacon, along with an orange rose laid neatly on another gold card.

Eren sat down, eating his breakfast before going and washing everything up. When done, he picked up the rose and placed in next to himself, while he read the card.

'Hello again my love. Did you enjoy breakfast? I made it just the way you love it. So here's the next clue.
