Chapter 31: Labor!

Flashback- Transylvania!
    Snowa was in her room in Dracula's mansion. Draculaura walked in and looked at Snowa as she had her back turned to her. "Snowa." Draculaura stated and Snowa turned around to face her. "Draculaura." Snowa stated as she wiped her tears. "I heard your conversation with my dad." Draculaura stated and Snowa tried to remain calm. "I don't know what you're talking about." Snowa stated. "Don't lie. Do you have feelings for my dad?" Draculaura asked. "No." Snowa replied. "Snowa." Draculaura stated and Snowa sighed. "You're lucky you're my friend." Snowa stated. "So?" Draculaura asked. "Fine, I might have gained some feelings." Snowa replied. "And he rejected you?" Draculaura asked and Snowa sighed as she sat on the edge of her bed. "If you heard, then you already know." Snowa replied and Draculaura sighed as she sat next to her. "That's my dad for you. The only person he cares about is me." Draculaura stated. "What about your mom?" Snowa asked. "He loved her. She was the first person he ever loved. The story behind them was complicated and a bit messed up." Draculaura replied. "What now?" Snowa asked and Draculaura replied. "I don't know." Draculaura replied and Snowa sighed.

Real World!
    Dale ran into the hospital. "Where is she?" Dale asked. "In the labor room. She's not far enough along to go to the delivery room yet." Genny replied. "You are the only one that's allowed to go there, since you're her husband and the father of her child." Lynda added. "Okay, thanks." Dale stated and ran into the room.
      "Candace." Dale stated. "Dale." Candace stated. She was sweating and breathing heavily, not her usual look. Dale went to her amd held her hand as he gave her a kiss on the forehead. "Are you holding up?" Dale asked. "Not good." Candace replied as she took deep breathes. "I'm here for you." Dale stated and Candace nodded. "I know." Candace stated. Then Cody walked in. "How are you doing?" Cody asked. "I could be better." Candace replied. "It shouldn't take much longer." Cody stated. "Good." Candace stated. "Yikes, you're only 2 centimeters along." Cody stated. "What? Are you serious?" Candace asked. Don't worry. It's only been 10 minutes. It should get bigger soon." Cody replied and Candace sighed. "It better." Candace stated. "Just be patient." Dale stated. "Do you even know me?" Candace asked. "Good point." Dale replied. Then Dale winced when Candace squeezed his hand hard and screamed.
      Rachel was looking through her things in her house. "Honey, I'm home!" Gary called. Rachel and Gary have been dating for some time now and finally moved in together for almost a month now. "Rachel put all of the things back into the safe. Then she put the safe under the bed of the guest bedroom. She walked out and closed the door as Gary walked up to her. "What were you doing in there?" Gary asked. "Um, I did laundry and I redid the sheets in their and put them back on." Rachel replied. "Why, when we haven't used the guest bedroom yet?" Gary asked. "Because I wanted them nice and fresh." Rachel replied and Gary nodded. "Okay." Gary stated and kissed her cheek. "What's for dinner?" Gary asked. "I was just thinking we could order pizza." Rachel replied and Gary nodded. "Good idea." Gary agreed and they walked downstairs.

Flashback- New Orleans!
      Roxanne elbowed her mom in the eye, making her drop the gun, and then Roxanne grabbed her momd arm and slipped her over. Then she grabbed the gun and pointed it at her mom. The whole thing got everyone to stop and got Clawdia to quickly grab Mr. Goyle's gun and point it at him. "I think we'll make the decisions now." Clawdia stated with a smirk. "Icysis, call the scariff." Roxanne stated and Icysis nodded as she took out her phone and started dialling the police station.

Real World!
     It's night time and it has been several hours since Candace have been in labor. Cody walked out and Candace's friends walked up to him. "So?" Christy asked. "She's only 5 centimeters along." Cody replied. "Shouldn't she be at 10 by now?" Daisy asked. "She should, but that's not always the case." Cody replied. "How long will it take?" Lynda asked. "It's hard to tell. It can hurry up and get to 10 in an hour, or it can take 5 more hours. You never know." Cody replied and they sighed. "Could we see her?" Genny asked and Cody shook his head. "No, just Dale for now." Cody replied and they nodded as he walked off.
     Rachel was asleep and Gary was still awake. He sighed as he looked over to his girlfriend. He slowly stood up and walked out of the room and quietly made his way into the guest room. He started looking around. He knew Rachel was hiding something, and he had to find out. He sighed and looked down to find something peeking out from under the bed. He picked it up and saw it was a safe. There was a passcode of four letters. It could be anything. A birthday, special day, or an anniversary of some sort. There's so many possibilities. He tried her birthday, and her three friends birthdays, then his birthday. He tried her moms and dads anniversary and both of their birthdays. He sighed as he was thinking. Then he decided to try one date. 6/01. In other means, June first. Their anniversary. It's a long shot, but every answer is. He took a deep breathe and it clicked and opened. He smiled and reached inside to see a bunch of files. He saw a birth certificate and pictures of two gargoyles and a baby boy. Then he saw more pictures of just the girl gargoyle and the baby boy. He saw more files of this boy. He found papers of theories about the girl gargoyles own parents. He saw a file on a girl gargoyle's arrest and another file on a boy gargoyles arrest. He found a picture of the girl gargoyle and a familiar werewolf. It was Catherine, the oldest of the wolf siblings. What is all of this and why would Rachel have it locked up like this?
  Dale walked back into the room with a glass of water. "Here." Dale stated as he lifted her head and helped her drink some. He took it back and put it on a table. "Thanks." Candace stated and Dale smiled. "Of course." Dale stated as Candace took a few deep breaths. She started screaming when she felt a bad contraption. He held her hand and winced as he let her squeeze it in pain. She finally stopped and tried to breathe. "It's getting worse." Dale stated as he rubbed her forehead and moved her hair back. "The beauty of birth." Candace stated and Dale gave her a kiss on the forehead and then her lips. Then Cody walked in. "That was a bad scream. You're friends are worried about you." Cody stated. "Tell them I'll live." Candace stated. "How are you doing?" Cody asked. "Feeling worst every minute." Candace replied. "You're at 8 centimeters. You're almost there." Cody stated. "Can't I go ahead and give birth?" Candace asked. "I'm afraid it doesn't work like that." Cody replied and Candace sighed as she screamed through gritted teeth. "The contraptions are getting closer. The centimeters shouldn't take long to get to 10 now." Cody stated and Candace sighed. "Good." Candace stated and Cody walked out.

Flashback- Transylvania!
      Draculaura walked into Snowa's room on Saturday morning. She saw the place was wrecked. She pushed her eyebrows together and turned around to find Snowa behind her. "What's going on?" Draculaura asked and Snowa sighed. "I'm moving." Snowa replied. "Why? Is this because of my dad?" Draculaura asked. Snowa sighed again as she pushed past Draculaura and back into the room. "No. It's me." Snowa replied. "Snowa. But you can still stay. We're friends, after all." Draculaura stated. "We're not friends." Snowa stated. "But. I-I thought." Draculaura stated. "I know what you thought, but you thought was wrong. We're not friends and we never have been." Snowa stated as she put a few things in her purse. Draculaura had tears in her eyes. "You lied to me?" Draculaura asked. Snowa couldn't stand to look at her, because she knew the vampire was crying. "Yes. It was all a lie so I could get to your father, and he rejected me. So, there's no point to stay anymore to stay and pretend." Snowa replied. "I don't understand." Draculaura stated. "Of course you wouldn't. You're just a stupid and naive vampire." Snowa stated and then waved her hand and disappeared.

Real World!
      Christopher walked in the hospital with Vampiris. Daisy smiled as she stood up and greeted her husband and daughter. "Thanks for coming." Daisy stated. "Anything for you." Christopher stated and they kissed. Daisy picked up her daughter and kissed her on the head. "You're adorable." Daisy stated. "Mommy." Vampiris stated. "That's right, that's me." Daisy stated. "Her second birthday is coming up." Christopher stated. "I know, we'll think of something special to do for. Hopefully there's no drama that day." Daisy stated. "Hopefully." Christopher agreed. "It'll be okay, no matter what." Daisy stated. "Yeah. How are you doing?" Christopher asked. "Fine, considering I don't know how Candace is at the moment." Daisy replied with a sigh. "I'm sure she's fine." Christopher stated. "All we can do is have hope in these tough times." Daisy replied. "I know, sweetie. I know." Christopher stated and gave her a kiss on the head. Daisy put Vampiris down and they watched her walk as Christopher held Daisy in his arms.

Flashcack- New Orleans!
      Icysis hung up her phone. "He's on his way." Icysis stated. "Good." Roxanne stated. "Come on, Roxy. You don't want to do this." Mrs. Goyle stated. "Oh, but I do. You murdered the love of my life, and you will pay one way or another." Roxanne stated. Mr. Goyle quickly slapped the gun out of Clawdia's hand and hit across the face with force, making her fly across the room and hit the wall. Roxanne looked at what just happened and Mrs. Goyle grabbed Roxanne's gun, but Roxanne kept a hold on it and they started fighting as they both tried to get it. It went off a few times and they heard a scream, but neither of them stopped. "Roxanne! Clawdia has been shot!" Icysis exclaimed. Roxanne immediately stopped and turned to faced the scene with tears in her eyes. "No!" Roxanne exclaimed as she ran to her friend. The Goyle's smirked and ran off with the guns.

Real World!
    Snowa was in the barn when Sandy walked in. "Sandy." Snowa stated. "That's me." Sandy stated. "You disappeared." Snowa stated. "That's not exactly what happened." Sandy stated. "Where the hell have you been?" Snowa asked. "Doing a little digging." Sandy replied. "About?" Snowa asked. "Your old friend." Sandy replied. "Draculaura?" Snowa asked. "That's the one." Sandy replied. "Why?" Snowa asked. "Most evil people have one thing that keeps them slightly good. You would think it would be your sister, but it's not, it's her. That stupid vegetarian vampire, and her father." Sandy explained. "Dracula?" Snowa asked. "I know about you two." Sandy replied. "How?" Snowa asked. "Long story." Sandy replied. "What now?" Snowa asked. "We accomplish our goals, and the first thing is to get rid of the complications." Sandy replied and Snowa sighed.
     The sun had barly risen when Cody walked in and saw Candace still in pain and Dale still supporting her. "I won't even ask how you're doing." Cody stated. "Smart move." Candace stated as she winced and had another contraption. "Your contraption's are only a minute apart and you're 10 centimeters away. You are ready to go to the delivery room." Cody stated and Candace sighed. "Thank goodness." Cody stated. "Am I allowed to be with her?" Dale asked. "Of course. But once again, only you." Cody replied and they got ready to move on to the delivery room.
