Chapter 2: Snow Monster!

Real World!
     Lynda was asleep in her bed. She was wearing Gilbert's shirt and was facing away from her. She jumped when she heard her phone ring. She sat up and turned on the lamp as she rubbed her eyes. She grabbed her phomhe and quickly answers it before it wakes her fiance. "Hello?" Lynda asked. "Hi, Lynda. It's Marvin." Marvin replied. Lynda was really confused. Marvin is also known as Manny Tar. He's the deputy, and helps out Lynda. "Marvin. What's going on?" Lynda asked. "There seems to be a snow storm." Marvin replied. "A snow storm? Down here?" Lynda asked. "Yes, but I think it's more complicated then that." Marvin replied. "What are you talking about?" Lynda asked. "Just come to the town line." Marvin replied and he hung up. Lynda sighed and got up. She wrote a quick note and took off her fiancee's shirt and got dressed as she headed out.
    She parked her car and got out as her eyes widened. There was an ice wall, so no one can leave or enter. No one could leave before, but now it's different. They can't even see past the line anymore, because of the giant ice wall. "What the hell is this?" Lynda asked. Marvin turned around to face her and walked towards her. "I don't know, but I think we have a new villain." Marvin replied and Lynda sighed as she shook her head. "This isn't good, the people are going to freak." Lynda stated. "That's why we need to figure out who did that, and fast." Marvin stated and Lynda nodded.

Flashback!
     Many years ago, Icysis, Abbey's mom, was just a kid, just like every other monster. She was 11 and full of light. She walked out of her snow palace and started walking down the hill. She dropped and rolled down the snowy hill. She hit someone, by accident, and made them fall and roll down too. She sighed as she got back up and looked at the guy she ran in  "I so sorry, mister." Icysis stated. "No problem." The guy stated and Icysis smiled at him as she helped him up. "I'm Icysis Winter." Icysis greeted. "I'm Yeti Bominable." Yeti greeted. "Nice to meet you." Icysis stated. "You too." Yeti agreed as they shook hands. Up on the top floor of the ice palace stood Snowa Winter, older sister of Icysis, was watching from a top. She knew Yeti. He goes to school with her, and sges always liked him. He's in high school, 14, just like her. Her sister is 11, what does he see in her? He can't like her, can he?

Real World!
   It was morning now and the sun was shining bright. Lynda and Marvin have been examining the ice wall. Lynda's phone rang and she saw it was Gilbert. "I should take this." Lynda stated and Marvin nodded. "Good idea, I should call Harry." Marvin agreed and Lynda nodded. "Okay, you should call Jennifer too." Lynda stated and Marvin nodded. "Good idea." Marvin agreed. Lynda walked away from him and over to her car as she answered her phone. "Hi." Lynda greeted. "Hey. I saw your note, is everything okay?" Gilbert asked. "Fine, I just think that there's a new villain here." Lynda replied and Gilbert widened his eyes. "How? What makes you think that?" Gilbert asked. "An ice wall is over the town line, trapping us in this town in a different way then before." Lynda replied. "This isn't good." Gilbert stated and Lynda nodded with a sigh. "Yeah, I want to ask a favor of you." Lynda stated. "Of course, anything for you." Gilbert agreed. "Marvin asked his girlfriend to keep the town calm and I was wondering if you could meet her at Abominably Amazing and help her." Lynda replied. "Of course. I was heading out anyeauts. I'll love to help." Gilbert replied and My dad smiled. "Okay, I'll see you later. I love you." Lynda stated. "I love you too." Gilbert stated and Lynda smiled and blushed as she hung up. She looked down at her phone and then put it back in her purse. She kept looking down as she was thinking. She looked up as she got an idea. She texted Alison an S.O.S. That's what they text their friends when there's an emergency. She's hoping Alison can help. Since she is the daughter of Yeti, and has extremely powerful ice and snow powers, maybe she'll be able to know about this or who could of done this.
    Harry and Jennifer were already at the town line and talking to Marvin. Lynda was still by her car, waiting for her Bominable friend. She smiled when she saw Alison walking over to her. "Hi, Lynda. What going on? What S.O.S for?" Alison asked and Lynda pointed the wall as they started walking over. "It happens sometime early last night. We don't know who did this, and we were hoping you could help." Lynda replied as they got close to it. Harry noticed her and then she noticed him. They gave each other shy smiles. "We were hoping you guys could melt this." Marvin stated. "And I wanted to talk to you, Ali. Who else has your kind of powers?" Lynda asked and Alison sighed as she shrugged. "I don't know, I just know of my family." Alison replied. "Then who did this?" Lynda asked. "I don't know, could be anyone in town." Alison replied and Lynda sighed. "I should warn you, you should step back." Jennifer stated and they all stepped back except her and Harry. Harry held out his hands and started blowing fire towards the ice as Jennifer started blowing fire towards the ice, since Jennifer is a Chinese Dragon and Harry is just a fire monster. They both stopped and saw that nothing has changed, the fire did not work. "It can't melt, this won't end well." Harry stated and they all sighed. "Thanks anyways." Marvin stated. "No problem." Jennifer stated. "Happy to help, even though it didn't help at all." Harry stated. "Sometimes all you can do is try." Jennifer stated. "This something I could do." Alison stated as she examined it and touched her fingers on it. Everyone else couldn't touch it because it was too cold for them, but it was perfect for her. "So, you have no idea of who could be as powerful as you?" Lynda asked and Lynda sighed as she took her hand off of the ice wall and shook her head. "No, just my family. Alison replied. "Family? Like your dad?" Lynda asked. "Yeah, and mom, from what dad told me. But you, Jen, Sherri, and myself know dad went missing and mom dead." Alison replied and Lynda nodded. "Yeah, I'm sorry I mentioned it." Lynda stated and Alison shook her head with tears in her eyes. "Don't be, I fine." Alison replied and Lynda nodded. Lynda gave her friend a hug anyways, and Alison hugged back.
     Yeti is going around this world, hiding behind buildings, feelings terrified. "Who are you?" Francine asked from behind. He turned around as he jumped. "Who you are?" Yeti asked. "I'm Francine. Are you new here?" Francine asked as she stepped closer. "Stand back!" Yeti exclaimed. "I won't hurt you." Francine stated. He held up his hands and a snow monster was created in between them. Francine widened her eyes and Yeti couldn't believe what he did. He knew he could create something like that, but he didn't mean to. He usually has so tell of his powers, he doesn't understand why they seem to be everywhere. He ran off as the snow monster roared at Francine. She ran off as the snow monster chased her off.
    Everyone ran away from the path of the snow monster as Fracine ran. She knew Lynda was by the town line, so she had to get there. She finally got there and they jumped as they saw the snow monster. "What is that?" Lynda asked. "I don't know. I found this guy and be seemed scared. He made this with his hands." Francine replied as she ran up to them. It reached for Harry and picked him up in his giant hand. "No!" Alison exclaimed as she ran up to him. She was angry now, since she had a giant crush on him. She held up her hands and used her ice powers to counteract with the person who did this. The snow monster melted in seconds and she sighed as Harry fell to the ground. She ran up to him to check on him, and helped him up. "This villain must be pretty powerful." Lynda stated as she shook her head. "No me think this same person." Alison stated. "What?" Marvin asked as they all walked closer to her. "Person who make ice wall was more calm. Person who make snow monster was more, everywhere." Alison replied. "What does that mean?" Jennifer asked. "Does that mean that we have one powerful villain and one non powerful potential good person?" Lynda asked. "No, both obviously equally powerful. One more content and calm, the other more terrified. As you know, powers are tied to emotions. Person who made ice wall is more calm and isn't scared. But person who made snow monster is terrified, probably from new world he don't understand." Alison explained. "That makes since." Lynda agreed. "So, let's go find us two ice powered monsters." Marvin stated as him and Lynda got in their cars and drove off.
