Flashback!
"Sandy!" Merlin called. Sandy woke up and sighed as she rubbed her eyes. "Coming, dad!" Sandy called back. She stood up and went into her closet. She grabbed a simple black dress and put it on. She walked out of her room and to the restroom to brush her hair and teeth. She walked out and into the living room, but didn't see her dad. But then Merlin walked in from the front door. "What were you doing?" Sandy asked. "Checking the mail. But there wasn't any." Merlin replied and Sandy nodded. "You have been checking the mail a lot lately. Are you waiting for something?" Sandy asked. "Nothing important." Merlin replied. "Okay. I'm going to check on the garden." Sandy told him and walked out back.
Sandy was walking home from the store. She wasn't paying attention where she was going and bumped into someone. "Watch where you're going!" The girl screamed and Sandy sighed. "Sorry, I didn't see you there." Sandy apologized. "You're so.... Nice." The girl commented and Sandy grinned. "Thanks." Sandy told her. "That wasn't a compliment. Being nice won't get you anywhere, girl." The girl told her and bumped her as she walked away. Sandy sighed as she kept walking and finally made it to her house. "Sandy, I was getting worried about you." Merlin told her. "Sorry, I met this strange girl on my way over. I never caught her name, but she was very rude." Sandy told him. "That's weird. What did she look like?" Merlin asked. "Kind of like me, actually. Just an older version, but it's probably just my imaginary." Sandy replied. Merlin tried to relax. He knew it wasn't just her imagination, but he couldn't let her know. "Yeah." Merlin agreed. He hates lying to her, but he doesn't have any other options. "Go do your homework while I make dinner." Merlin told her and she nodded. "Okay, dad." Sandy agreed as she walked in her room.

Daisy took Sandy to her house. "Chris!" Daisy called. Christopher walked down the stairs and smiled at his wife. He kissed her on the forehead and then noticed Sandy as he pulled Daisy behind him. "What the hell is she doing here?" Christopher asked and Daisy got in between them. "She's had a change of heart. She's my sister and I invited her to stay here." Daisy replied. "What about Vampiris?" Christopher asked. "Sandy won't hurt our daughter, I trust her." Daisy replied and Christopher sighed as he looked at Sandy. "Fine." Christopher agreed and Sandy held her husband's hand in comfort.
Stella walked up to Alison at Abominably Amazing. "Hey, Ali." Stella greeted and Alison smiled. "Hi, Stella. How are you today?" Alison asked. "Good. I'm struggling to find my new story." Stella replied. "You come up with it, you always do." Alison told her and Stella nodded. "That's true." Stella agreed. "I haven't seen you do a story on my mom." Alison commented. "Yeah, and I did think about that. But I didn't know if that was too personal for you, I don't do stories that'll hurt anyone and more." Stella told her. "Well, I'm fine with it." Alison told her and Stella smiled. "Good, I was about to reach my week's deadline without a story." Stella told her. "You head of news line. You give yourself deadlines?" Alison asked and Stella smirked. "It helps me stay organized." Stella replied and they both laughed.
Christy walked into the library and saw Willow. "Hey." Christy greeted. "Oh, hi Christy." Willow greeted. "Is Daisy here?" Christy asked. "In the back. I'll get her for you." Willow replied. "Thanks." Christy stated. Daisy walked out and smiled at her best friend. "Hey. It feels like forever since I've seen you." Daisy told her as they went into a hug. "I know, you have been busy with your dad, Snowa, and Sandy." Christy agreed and Daisy laughed. "Yeah. It's been a lot of weight on my shoulders." Daisy commented. "Don't worry about it, you'll get through." Christy reassured and Daisy smiled. "Thanks. As long as I have the people care about, I know I will." Daisy agreed. Then Sandy walked out of the back with her hair in a side braid. "What is she doing here?" Christy asked. "She's good now." Daisy replied. "She's good now? Just like that?" Christy asked. "It wasn't just like that, it took a while. But she wasn't evil in the first place, she just thought she had to be because of her background." Daisy replied. "But you never did because of your background." Christy commented. "My background is different." Daisy told her. "How so?" Christy asked. "That's not important right now." Daisy replied and Christy sighed. "Daisy, you are my best friend and I love you. But sometimes you are too trusting and too naive." Christy told her and Daisy glared at her friend. "She is my sister." Daisy told her. "Maybe I should go." Sandy suggested. "Maybe you should." Christy agreed. Sandy was about to leave, when Daisy stopped her. "No, Christy's the one who's leaving." Daisy told her. "Really? You're going to throw away our friendship for some villain?" Christy asked. "I'm not throwing anything away and she's not a villain." Daisy replied. Christy sighed and left the library.

Flashback!
Sandy walked outside of her high school, Monster High, with her best friend, Mindy, who's a ghost. "So, you're 16th birthday is tomorrow." Mindy commented and Sandy nodded. "Yep." Sandy agreed. "Hanging out with your dad, like always?" Mindy asked and Sandy smiled. "Yep, like always." Sandy replied. "Well, I hope you have fun." Mindy told her. "Thanks, I always do." Sandy told her. Sandy saw her dads carriage and waved to Mindy as she ran to it and got inside. "How was school?" Merlin asked. "Boring, as usual." Sandy replied with a slight laugh. "School can be fun." Merlin told her and she laughed again. "Yeah, right. How was your day?" Sandy asked. "Good. Nothing too special." Merlin replied.
A couple hours after school, Merlin was driving Sandy somewhere, but she didn't know where. "Where are we going?" Sandy asked. "For the millionth time, it is a surprise." Merlin replied and Sandy sighed. The carriage finally stopped and they both got out. Sandy smiled as she saw it was the beach. She saw people she knew from school. "A surprise birthday party?" Sandy asked and Merlin nodded. "That's right." Merlin replied. "I thought there wasn't going to be a party this year, I haven't had a party in years." Sandy told him. "That's why it's the perfect surprise. It's your 16th birthday, it's a special day." Merlin told her and she hugged him with a smile. "Thank you." Sandy stated. "Anything for you. Now here." Merlin told her as he handed her a present. "My birthday present?" Sandy asked as she accepted it. "Well, it's your pre birthday present. You'll get your real birthday present tomorrow." Merlin replied. "Why is my party not on my actual birthday?" Sandy asked. "Because your birthdays have always been just the two of us. Even back when you did have parties." Merlin replied. Sandy opened her present and smiled when she saw it was a bathing suit. "I love it!" Sandy exclaimed and hugged him again. Then she ran off to hang out with Mindy.
Sandy woke up in the morning and smiled something good. She got up and left her room, keeping her night gown on. She went into the kitchen and saw Merlin setting the table. "I made French Toast, your favorite." Merlin told her and she grinned as she sat down. "Thank you." Sandy stated as he sat across from her. "I hope you enjoy it." Merlin told her. "I know I will, I always do." Sandy agreed. It didn't take her long to finish her breakfast. Then they went into the living room and sat on the couch. "Here." Merlin told her as he handed her a present. She unwrapped it and saw it was the dress she has been wanting for over a year. "You got it?" Sandy asked and he smiled. "Of course I did." Merlin replied. "I love it. Thanks, dad." Sandy told him. "Of course. Try it on and then you can open your other present." Merlin told her and she nodded. "Okay." Sandy agreed.
Sandy walked out of her room in her beautiful white dress. "I love it, dad." Sandy told him. "You look beautiful, as always." Merlin told her and she grinned and blushed. "Come and sit." Merlin told her and she sat next to him. He handed her another gift and she opened it. She gasped at what she saw. "A spellbook!" Sandy exclaimed. "Your magic is improving. It's a part of you are, and you need to embrace it." Merlin told her and she grinned as she hugged him. "I love it and I love you." Sandy told him and he smiled. "I love you too." Merlin told her.

Real World!
Alison took Stella to her mom's hospital room. Icysis is currently sleeping and Yeti wasn't there. "How do you feel?" Stella asked and Alison smiled. "I am so happy. My mom alive, and I thought she dead all my life." Alison replied and Stella smiled. "I'm happy for you, Ali." Stella told her. "Thank you." Alison stated and Stella nodded. "You're welcome." Stella stated. "Ready for your story?" Alison asked. "Yeah. Are you sure you're okay with this?" Stella asked and Alison nodded. "I am sure." Alison replied. "And your parents?" Stella asked. "My mom will be, my dad is harder to read, but he shouldn't care. It's not his decision anyways, it's my moms." Alison replied and Stella nodded. "Good to know." Stella agreed as they both sat down.
Daisy parked her car outside of her house with Sandy in the passenger's side. "I'm sorry." Sandy apologized and Daisy looked at her younger sister. "For what?" Daisy asked. "For causing you and your best friend to fight." Sandy replied and Daisy shook her head. "It's not your fault. Christy can be.... Aggressive. But she'll come through, she always does." Daisy reassured and Sandy nodded. "I hope so." Sandy agreed. "Don't worry and relax." Daisy told her. "Thank you, for everything." Sandy told her older sister and Daisy smiled. "You are welcome." Daisy told her. "You never gave up on me, even when other people did. Why?" Sandy asked. "I don't give up easily. I have been told that I'm an optimist. I have hope and I see the good in everyone." Daisy told her and Sandy nodded. "You're amazing." Sandy commented and Daisy blushed. "That is sweet. Let's go inside." Daisy told her and Sandy nodded as they got out of the car and in the house.
