When things were hard, I wished for a blessing. I needed an escape, if I really am confessing. After so long, my hope was surely almost all gone. Then there was the day that you came along....
What are you to do when fate sends you the perfect? Someone so mesmerizing and beautiful on the surface. A heart of gold with compassion like no other. Not just someone who hides behind a fake cover.
I know I'm not good enough, your far too pure for me. Your just so much better than I could ever be.
I'd give you the world, and my heart to forever hold. And I'd do anything to keep you safe from those torn and tattered souls.
It physically hurts me to see you in pain. I'd do anything to keep from seeing those crystal tears of rain.
You can make me smile even on my worst of days. When I'm lost in the dark you somehow guide me the way. You are my anything and everything, and just so much more. There's nothing about you I don't absolutely adore.
Though fate was not as kind as to make it a piece of pie. I won't know what its like to hold you under the night sky. Won't know what its like to hold you close and give you love. Or laugh and talk with you while the sun sets from above.
But as long as your still smiling, everything will be fine. I may not have your heart, but you'll forever have mine. As long as your happy, just know I am to.
Even if I never get to say how much I love you...

Happy Valentines Day guys, just wanted to post a small poem and a peice of art to this.

This poem wasn't nessicerily directed toward anyone, but I did have someone in mind while writing it. I'm just too ahy to say, but I love them lots. Even though they don't know it. ❤
