Happy Valentine's Day(Key x Reader)

You wake up to the smell of waffles in the air. You contemplate getting out of bed when you hear the door open and feel a bounce on the bed. You roll over to find Garçon in your face with his tongue sticking out a little bit. You laugh before reaching out to pet his fluff of a head. After a couple of minutes of petting he curls up next to you and falls asleep.

"Garçon, where are you? You better not be where I think you are." You here your lovely boyfriend say before he opens the door.

"He came to say good morning. That's more than I can say for two other men in this house." You say before sitting up and stretching. 

"I was going to surprise you and didn't want either of them to wake you up too early. I guess he got out of my sight." Kibum said before walking over to your side and kissing you on the forehead. 

"That's how you kiss your girlfriend on Valentine's day?" You ask with a small pout on your face.

"Happy Valentine's day." Kibum says before kissing you on the lips.

You would have kissed back if you didn't start to smell something burning.

"Do you smell something burning?" You ask watching Kibum's face turn to horror.

"The waffles!" He shouts before running out of the room.

You laugh before getting up and walking out of the room with Garçon following you. You walk into the kitchen to see Kibum putting a burnt waffle on a plate to let it cool down before throwing it away. Once he was done with that you noticed a small pout on his face as he started to make a new one.

"Why the pout?" You asked as you kissed his cheek and jumped to sit on the counter.

"I burnt your favorite breakfast." He say as he walks over and stands in between your legs.

"That's okay though. There's still a couple of good ones that we can enjoy." You say and gesture to the plate of five waffles. 

"Yeah?" Kibum asks questioningly.

"Yeah." You say and smile down at him. 

Once the waffles were done you both sat at the table to eat them before getting dressed for the day. You decided to dress somewhat formally since you knew that you had plans later that night. You would only be dressed like this before you would change into something more elegant for the night. The problem was you had no idea what Kibum had planned for the night so you didn't know what was too fancy and was too casual. You walked out to the living room to find Kibum setting up the DVD player and picking out your favorite movies to watch. You smiled and sat on the couch.

"Wow! Who's this sexy lady?" Kibum asked as he turned around.

"Don't start this is only until I change for what you have planned tonight. Unless this is okay to wear?" You ask knowing it's worth a shot.

"Well I can't tell you where we're going but I can tell you that you are certainly dressed perfectly for it." He says as he walks over and sits on the couch.

"Thank god. I never know what to wear when you don't tell me where we're going." You say as you sit next to him and curl into his side.

"You know you always look good to me babe." He said kissing you on the head before starting the first of many movies. 

~Later that night~

You and Kibum just finished taking the dogs out before locking up the apartment and walking down the hall to the elevator. You had a jacket in case it got cold but you still had no idea where you were going. You just let Kibum lead you to the car and got in when he opened the door for you. You tried asking questions that would give any clues as to where you were going. To your disappointment Kibum knew what you were up to and quickly put a stop to it. You accepted defeat and looked out the window for the rest of the ride. 

"We're almost there and I want you to put this on." Kibum said as he handed you a red blindfold.

"You're not going to try and kill me are you?" You asked jokingly as you grabbed it and started to put it on.

"Maybe." Kibum said with a little laugh.

 Now that you couldn't see anything your hearing was enhanced so you could hear the music clearly even though the volume was low. You felt the car turn and tried to listen closely to find out where you were but you still couldn't tell. Finally the car came to a stop and you heard Kibum shut it off.

"Stay here." He said before opening the door and getting out. 

You waited silently hoping he would come to get you but after a couple of minutes you were still in the car. You waited like you were told but jumped when you heard the door open and felt someone grab your arm to gently help you out of the car since you were wearing heels.

"You can take the blindfold off." Someone said as you tried to place the voice. 

You took the blindfold off and waited for your eyes to adjust to the light before looking around. Once you could see clearly you looked for the owner of the voice only to find Minho looking at you with a smile.

"I was instructed to help you. You could hurt yourself walking on rocks with heels on." He said as he held his arm out for you to grab.

"Why thank you good sir." You said as you grabbed his arm and started walking.

As you were walking you started to look around but there wasn't much to see. You were on a gravel path and it was getting close to sunset. Soon the path started to open and you could see a lake with a dock and a willow tree. You loved the way willow trees looked especially at sunset. As you walked closer you could make out four figures three of them were holding something. You recognized one of them as Jonghyun. The other two were too close in height to tell if it was Jinki or Taemin. Once you were close enough you saw that Kibum looked nervous. Minho released your hold on his arm and walked over to the other three and picked something up of the ground. 

"Kibum what's going on?" You asked as you walked a little closer.

"(Y/N), I've been planning this for months just couldn't find the right time to do any of it. I figured Valentine's Day was the perfect time and got the help of my friends to set it all up. I'm so glad the weather cooperated so this would can be perfect. Ever since I met you I've been wondering how I got so lucky to have met an angel. Everyday since you said you would go out with me I've made sure to do everything with you in mind. I never wanted to do anything that would have hurt you. We've been dating for about four years now. I promise to never hurt you and to always be your's so long as you will be mine." 

As he was saying this he got down on one knee and the other four started to move behind him each of them were holding a sign. As you started to read what they said Kibum started to ask you the question you were reading.

"Will you marry me?" He asked as he held a box with a beautiful ring in it.

"Yes." You said as you looked down at him with tears in your eyes. 

He stood up put the ring on your finger and kissed you as your friends clapped and shouted. You laughed at them and looked around again. Now when you think of the day you got engaged you'll think of a lake at sunset with a willow tree near by. Most importantly you will think of the man you will love for the rest of your life.
