One day you'll meet a guy. And ultimately he's going to find out. How you chew, how you sip, how you dance, how you smell at every point in a day. How your face look underneath all your make up. How you love chocolate or pizza, how you can be hyper at times, how certain games and show make you really happy. How cranky you can get when you're tired, how you think you look bad in all your photos. He's going to know everything about you.
And you know what?
He's still going to love you.

You fall in love and it completely consumes you. So a part of you is broken when that's gone. And a part of you wants to have that rebellious feeling where you're just like "Forget it - I can do anything I want."

I've tried it. And I've never been that girl. I'm always going to be the girl you want to take home to your parents, not just for the night.

Love is not an equation. It is not a contract and it is not a happy ending. Love is the slate under the chalk, the ground that buildings rise, and the oxygen in the air. It is the place you come back to, no matter where your headed.

What if I continue to wake up every fucking day of my life and want you so badly that my bones shake so much that they feel like they're going to break.

Thats the thing. You can't like someone who only calls you babe and cute and ask whats up but never ask about your family or your favorite candy or what you think about at 3am when you're all alone.

YOU LIKE THE ATTENTION AND NOT THE PERSON and thats really shitty because liking a person so much is fucking better than liking attention.

Ten.

"How do you know you've lost someone?"

Well, I guess you just know. I mean it starts with them forgetting to text you back, or not saying goodnight.

It starts when you feel more alone in their arms than anywhere else in the world.

It starts with the arguments about stupid things and disagreeing more than you knew possible.

It starts with them asking you what movie you want to watch, then choosing something completely different and it ends with them not bothering to ask you anything at all.

It ends when they start nodding distractedly at everything you say.

It ends when there is nothing left but ash because its true: the opposite of love isn't hate, it's indifference.

It ends when silence isn't comfortable anymore and the person sat in front of you is a stranger in a strange clothes.

You want to know how you know you've lost someone? In the end? Just in the same the way you know most things: you just do.
