Chuckling, Azara advanced to the left side with Dexa trailing after him, towards to end of the beast.
"Shoot," Azalea cursed, accidentally stepping on the dragon's long, sharp, scaly tail. It's eyelids opened up, revealing its sickly yellow pupils. Turning towards Azalea, it let out a bloody curling roar.
"Hey, o-over here!" Ylva yelled, launching a stone at the monster's eye. It's jerked it's head towards her, and growled. "It's now or never," Ylva whispered to herself, morphing into a little dog.
"Wow, I can't believe she would do that," Azara Confessed, watching the dragon inch closer and closer to the little dog.
"Do what, throw a rock at it to gain its attention, just to save Azalea's life," Dexa asked.
"Exactly that, I thought she was just going to bookit out of here," Azara explained, chuckling slightly.
"Well, come on. We need to get a move on, so it doesn't actually end up eating one of us," Azalea stated, walking towards the dragon. Dexa and Azara nodded slightly, following Azalea in the same formation as before. The dragon had Ylva in a corner, her whimpers for help increasing as it slowly opened its mouth. Before it could claim her as its next meal, Azalea ran forward and slashed it's mussel with her dagger. Roaring in pain, the beast swung its long, sharp claws at Azalea, not only cutting her, but sending her flying back into the wall from the impact. She tried to keep her eyes open, but the blow was affecting her greatly. She looked around again before the sapphire shade was no longer visible in her eyes, and she fainted. Turning its attention back to Ylva, the dragon placed it's right leg on top of her, preventing her to run. Crying in pain, Ylva tried to squeeze her way out, but it just wouldn't work. Opening its mouth, getting ready to mark her as it's dinner.
Azara quickly threw a stone at the monster and yelled, "Look over here, you- you ugly lizard!" Glancing at him, the dragon simply growled and turned back to his sister. Looking around frantically, Azara rushed forward and impaled his dagger into the beast tail. With a scream of pain, the beast lifted it's hold on Ylva, and turned its attention to Azara.
Pushing him out the way, Dexa stated, "You need to get Ylva out of here, okay. Just, find somewhere outside the cave for her to rest."
"What, no! I'm not leaving you to fight this thing on your own," Azara protested, pulling on her arm.
"This is no time to argue, Azara! I'm the oldest person here, I am the one who needs to protect you three, no the other way around! So, you're going to get your little sister out of here, and that's final," Dexa exploded, yanking her arm out of his grip.
