"Well, that was eventful," Maddy said.

I grabbed a muesli bar from the cupboard. Opening it and running back to my spot outside on the swing.

Abby walked out with ice in her hand. She sat next to me, stealing the rest of my muesli bar. I just let her take it since she did beat up James for me.

Then Maddy came out with three cold drinks, she passed them out then sat on the ground. "Thanks," Abby and I said.

I took a sip of the drink. I sighed as the cool liquid ran down my throat. "So do you think James' still out there?" I asked shuffling in my seat

"I dunno'" Abby said "go check"

Maddy sat silently through the conversation we had?? weird. but I ignored it. I got up to go inside when...

Maddy grabbed my arm. "Be careful. I know he wants something," she said in a creepy voice, but not joking around creepy.

The doorbell dinged as I got into the kitchen.

I quickly opened the door to see Dash's face with a curious look on it. I looked past Dash to James, where he still lay on the ground. A pool of blood coming from where Abby punched him.

"Come in," I said to Dash.

She walked past me sassily and off somewhere. I stood looking at James for what seemed like forever when Dash came back and said "come on. And stop looking at him it's weird" she sighed as if I was some kind of special kid who didn't understand.

I followed her out of the hall into the living room. We flopped onto the couch and turned a movie on. Soon after Maddy and Abby came in and watched the movie with us.

It was about 12 and I was just starting to get crazy.

"Let's play Candor or Dauntless," I said enthusiastically jumping up to get a bean bag

"Ok" dash said excitedly moving to the floor.

"I'll start, Candor or Dauntless Maddy?" I said

Maddy looked uncertainly at me when I said her name "Candor" she breathed out

"Umm, who is your secret crush. That no one knows about?"

"Jay" she whispered

"Wow," I said and Abby

"Dash" Maddy said cheekily

"Dauntless" she replied sitting up straighter to make herself look more confident

"Ok take off your shirt and go outside to where James is and tell him you love him."

"Fuck," Dash said as she took off her shirt. she stood up and squared her shoulders. she made her way outside to where James was. "I love you James" she stated kind of annoyed.

he just lay there sightly smirking.

"truth or dare?" he asked,

"why would I tell you?" Dash said

she came back to the living room. I watched the whole thing so she didn't cheat.

"ok, my go," she said "Abby, candor or Dauntless?"

"uh, I choose dauntless" she replied

"call josh t and Carlos, and tell them to get their butts over here now!!"

"ok that's easy, pshh" Abby said

"oh wait I haven't told the dare yet" she grinned cheekily

NARRATORS POV

Abby got on the phone with the boys and asked them if they could come over. they agreed and were there in 10 minutes.

I just started school again and in the holidays I did nothing and had really bad writer's block.
