"What're you doing?" Asked Junjie softly, watching Bolin stand up on his weak and beaten up legs.
Mei must have had her fun with him, he thought. Since Bolin could hardly stand up without his legs shaking.
"What do you think I'm doing? I'm about to kick your ass!" Bolin groaned painfully, even talking hurt his ribs.
Junjie's eyebrow rose, for a moment, he entertained laughing but laughing at Bolin would be mean, inconsiderate, and rude.
He should know better as a prince and he didn't want to break Bolin's spirit that way. Not when he's about to send him to Seven Gates of Hell for reincarnation.
"For crying out loud, you looked like a mincemeat. Mei already beat the crap out of you, you can't fight me like that. You'll just going to make me feel guilty."
"The hell with that. You think I'm just going to let you send me to reincarnation without a fight? I'll kick your ass even if that's the last thing I must do.
I've done nothing but listen to everyone and did what they want me to do. I should've have been still alive if it wasn't for my family summoning me to death before my time. I lived my entire life without ever enjoying anything."
Junjie relaxed in his throne. He liked the fire Bolin had in him but he's hardly a match for a dragon. He will not fight Bolin like this. Not if he can help it.
"You do realize I'm a high born magical spirit, right? And I'm almost three hundred years old."
Bolin laughed, Junjie's pride in his age sounded so ridiculous. His great great grandfather is at least half a century older than the prince.
"Heh, three hundred? What's that in dragon age? Thirteen? You're not even a mature dragon yet? Does Ling Ling know about that? Is she aware she married a baby dragon?"
Bolin continued to laugh.
"And who's that little girl I fought tonight? Was she your nanny? Does Ling Ling know you couldn't function on your own without a nanny?"
Junjie was red by this time. "How dare you insult your prince? Mei is not my nanny!"
Bolin laughed even harder shooting a pointed finger at Junjie. "Yes, she is. Admit it, you have a nanny."
Junjie shot up from his silver throne, his temper rose as fast as he brought himself up from his seat. No one dares talk to him like that.
He might've been more lenient with Bolin for Ling Ling's sake, but Bolin does not deserved it. Especially when he lacked all kinds of respect for his ruler.
"I'll have you know Mei is my personal guardswoman assigned to me by my father.
"You mean a nanny?"
Junjie's eyes flashed a dangerous lightning that brighten his irises almost to a liquid silver. The ground and walls around him shook threateningly which Bolin felt beneath his feet.
