First Steps

King Alistair

Your father didn't exactly knew when it was time for you to really start walking so he only guessed that it was time.

He gotten you to stand up for him and tried guiding you around so you can get used to it. After little while of doing it,he tried to make you do it on your own. He knelt down a few feet away from you and said,"C'mon (y/n). You can do it or at least do it for mommy and daddy. Or just daddy rather because mommy isn't here yet.".

You fell into sitting position. All you did was laugh and clap your hands. Your father chuckled with a smile on his face shaking his head. He put you at standing position again. And again. And again. And so on and so forth.

After standing you up literally, not figuratively the nineteenth time. You finally were starting to take your first few steps towards him. You fell in father's arms on your last step. Your father was so proud all he did was spin you and laughed with you.

"Oh my little princess has token her first steps. Daddy's so proud of you. Oh yes he is, yes he is.", he murmured against your face while kissing you.

Zevran

You were on the ground playing with your 'Horsey' while your father watched you."Hello my little (animal nickname). How are you?", he asked. You just smiled and laughed a little. He smiled back at you. He knelt to the ground and said,"Now listen, daddy has to talk to uncle Alistair and aunt Elyssa for little bit. But daddy promises to come back. Okay?",he said. You didn't answer you just made mumble sounds."Okay.",your father said before he gave you a kiss on the head. Then he left.

It's now been almost an hour and you didn't want to wait for your father anymore. So you tried to stand up on your own. You succeeded and started taking a few steps.

You were struggling a bit until you started to get used to it. Then you started heading out the door.  You started pushing the door open and entering the hallway. You saw your father  at the end of the hall talking to your uncle Alistair; holding your cousin,(g/c/n). Then Alistair left with your cousin, your father was still standing there.

You walked behind him. You tugged on his hood until you got his attention. He looked down at you, you were reaching up to him bouncing. He smiled and picked you up and said,"My little (animal nickname) has finally walked. I'm so proud.".

Sten

Sten was sharpening his blade while you were just playing by yourself. Again. You always got tired of playing by yourself,you always felt sad because of how distant your father was around you.

You wanted him to get your attention. So you started to stand up by yourself. You tried taking a step and fell. You did it again then fell again. Then on your third attempt,you finally took your first steps towards your father.

He started to hear your footsteps and turned towards you. His eyes widened when he saw you walking. You walked towards him until you reached to him."Dada! Play with me!",you said. Your father smiled and started to play with you.

Morrigan

You saw your brother start taking his first steps three days ago. Your mother was so proud of him. But ever since that day your mother has been trying to get you to walk for a while. After so many failed attempts, your mother gave up.

Then you tried to walk again by yourself, and you started standing. You took a few steps towards your mother,she didn't seem to notice.

"Mama.", you said while walking towards her. She turned and gasped feeling surprised. You smiled and kept walking towards her she ran to you picked you up spinning you a little.

" Oh y/n! I'm so happy you've finally have learned to walk.",she said with great joy. You just smiled and laughed.

Leliana

Your mother was holding your hands while guiding you around on your feet. After guiding you around for a few minutes, she wanted to see you do it on your own.

"Come on sweetheart. You can do it,sweety. I know you can.", she encourages you. You struggled taking your first few steps,but you kept balance. After a moment of loosing balance you finally managed to start walking normally. You smiled while walking to your mother's arms. She smiled back and kissed you on the head,and tossed you in the air a little bit. You were laughing while she did so." Oh (y/n), I'm so proud of you. ",she said as both your cheeks were touching.
