Louis had quickly walked to the store on the corner that sold tons of snacks and other miscellaneous things when Harry had left to go home. The boy pushed his earbuds in his ear and turned on some music.
He picked up everything he thought they'd need, candy, crisps, and cookies all while humming a tune, "When you say you love me, that make me crazy.." He trailed off when a toy caught his eye. Picking it up, Louis smiled and admired the small frog in his hands. How ironic, he thought.
The stuffed frog was smiling, perched on top of the aisle shelf. The stuffed toy frog had a crown on it's little head and it was holding a red heart. It was of course, green and Louis couldn't deny how much it reminded him of Harry. So, he got it happily.
"Don't go look at me with that look in your eye.." He sang as he made his way to the cashier, his hands were pretty full. He was paying with his mum's food card and his own money for the stuffy little frog.
Once he was done, he left the store with his bags in his hand and quickly walked down his street and turned a few times then he had arrived at his home. He set the bags down to dig in his pocket and retrieve his keys, he shoved it keyhole and unlocked the door. He picked his bags up and walked in, closing the white creamy door with his foot.
Louis had saw his little sister Tesla on the couch, reading a book while his other one was seated almost directly in front of the flat screen TV, munching on pickles.
She had an obsession with pickles, she always ate them. She loved vegetables, but cucumbers soaked in vinegar and salt was her favourite; also known as pickles.
"Hey, Flora." He greeted her even though she didn't answer but just grunted with a pickle piece hanging from her mouth. Louis tapped Tesla and she snapped her head up quickly to see what touched her.
"Hey, little tea bag." He signed to her, he always loved to greet his little sisters sometimes. He admits he doesn't do it all the time because half the time he wants to strangle one or the other, but he still loved them.
Tesla got over her initial shock and smiled. Then, she signed back, "Hey, what is in the bag?"
"Junk food for Harry and me." He emphasized who the snacks for. Tea pouted and he smiled, "Don't be upset, we have like, five boxes of fruit roll-ups in the kitchen. They're just hidden." Louis signed to his sister.
Her eyes shot up and widen, Louis and her moms always hide the snacks.
"Where?!" She asked quickly, her hands moving like lightening. Louis cracked a smile at her reaction.
"Under the noodles in the pantry." He told her and she ran past him. He rolled his eyes and walked upstairs. He had time to set up a movie, wash and put on new clothes and then spread out snacks.
That was all in twenty minutes and then Harry was knocking on his door. Louis was down the stairs in seconds and opening the door in a flash. Out of breath, he breathed out a greeting.
"Hi!" It's louder than expected because he's out of breath.
Harry's froggy face and dimpled smile appears behind the door and Louis feels a tug at his heart from the sight of him. Harry greets him then laughs, "What's with the panting and stuff?" He asks, walking past him. Louis' eyes follow him while Harry waits by the staircase for Louis.
While Louis closed the door and locked it, Harry greeted Flora and Tesla. He had been trying to learn a bit of sign language to talk to her.
"I ran to get the door," Louis answered meekly with rosy cheeks. Harry chuckled fondly at the small boy and shook his head, he let Louis lead the way to his room though he already knew where it was. On the way up the stairs, Harry finds himself admiring Louis' outfit once again.
The older teenager was wearing black tights and a long Doncaster shirt with it. He looked adorable and small to Harry. They entered Louis' room and Louis directed him to make himself at home and comfortable.
Harry sat on a beanbag and set down his book bag of clothes that Louis hadn't even noticed. "So." Harry said with a smile.
"So." Louis repeated, looking back directly into his eyes with the same smile Harry gave.
"What are we watching?" Harry asked, the smile not leaving his face and his stare not wavering.
"Fifty Shades Of Grey." Louis responded, a straight face as he gazed back towards Harry.
Harry's eyebrows raised up and he cleared his throat, "Uh, really?" He asked, a small laugh leaving his mouth.
Louis cracked a smile. "No. Even though that is a good movie in my opinion." Louis looked away, breaking the intense stare and looked down to his bed. He grabbed three movies off the bed and held them up. "The Land Before Time. Dear Dumb Diary and The Rugrats." He listed off the kiddy movies he decided they'd watch.
"Oh no! I love The Land Before Time, but the beginning breaks my heart every time!" Harry complained, pouting.
Louis smiled a little and fake pouted at him before getting up and going to sit in his lap. He sat down and squeezed his cheeks. "Poor Harry, then." He finally answered.
Harry whined and pushed him. "That hurts, you know!" He complained more.
"Oops." Louis giggles, covering his smile with his small hands. Harry smiled at the sight, fond taking over his every being as he watched the beautiful sight and simultaneously remembered their first words to each other.
"Hi." Harry just barely whispered.
And maybe they kissed just a few seconds after that word was muttered.
