"Y/n sweetheart you ready?" Dad yelled from down stairs "yeah!" I called back grabbing my suitcase and going down the steps to the car putting my case and Dads in the back. We get inside the car and start our journey to the campsite.
We drive down a long dirt road till I see lakes and the trees get thicker and thicker. "We're here!" David says clearly excited "Gwen should be in the mess hall she'll show you around and you can do what ever til I'm done with paperwork." He explains unloading the car. "Ok"
I follow a trail til I see a sign that said 'camp campbell' but the bell part was faded off so it looked like camp camp which made me giggle a bit. "I know right it looks a bit silly" a females voice emerged from behind me i turned around to be met with big purple eyes "hey I'm Gwen"A dark skinned lady stood before me she wore the same uniform as dad. I kept quiet "you must be David's daughter he said you most likely wouldnt speak to me and to not take it personal." I nod "Well ill show you around" she showed me the various parts of the camp like the mess hall, cafeteria, the tents, their personal cabins, and the lake. She said I could chill anywhere I'd just have to stay on the camp grounds. Then she went on about her business. I decided to go to the tent farthest away from the mess hall and listen to music all day since no ones going to be here.
David's Pov
Me and Gwen have been planning and doing paperwork til there was a soft knock on the door "I'll get it" Gwen opens the door to reveal Max " hey kid" he brushed by her and sat on the couch "hey Max my daughters here so you don't have to sit and wait through the boring stuff" his dull expression turned into a taunting smile " Adopted kid right?" He laughed "I'll have you know this is my biological daughter" his laugh went blank "hold the fucking phone are you serious wait you had a girlfriend well more importantly you had SEX?" Gwen started giggle "Go..." My face was probably beet red as he walked out laughing. "Your daughter resembles you her eyes sparkle like yours" Gwen stated "she's my little sunshine"
Max pov
"I guess I'll go to my tent and sleep this nightmare away" I go to my tent which was the farest away from the mess hall. But when I got there I saw the outline of a person laying down in the tent MY FUCKING TENT it has to be David's daughter. I quietly open the tent flap. A girl was laying in a sleeping bag listening to music. I turn her over to see her face and who did David have sex with fucking a Rihanna Beyonce hybrid goddam! She 's hot
♡-♡. But my stubbornness got the best of me. I poking her roughly she got scared and ripped out her earbuds. Her e/c eyes met mine "this is my tent stupid"~ " Sorry " she "get out" she rushed out of the tent. I follow close to her "David told me that I got to stay with you so" she glanced at me "You don't have to Dad's trying to hard" she starts to walk away my arm involuntarily reached for hers turning her towards me giving a confused expression "Well I don't want to hear David's bitching so your staying with me got it?" She nods "I'm Max" ~ "y/n" we walk around the lake and we sit on the warm sand. She hasn't said a word since we introduced ourselves "Are you mute or something?" I ask bluntly "no"~ "Why aren't you speaking to me then?" Y/n shrugs grabs her iPod and listens to music leaving one ear open so she can hear me. "You do know David's rule on electronics?" ~ " He can't take it if doesn't know.."~"Little rebel aren't ya?" She giggles the oh my god that was adorable "MAX Y/N!!" David voice echoed in the distance y/n quickly stuffs her earbuds and iPod in her pocket. "COMING!" She screams she gets up dusting the sand off of her butt and followed David's voice.
Your pov
I went to David, Max followed close behind. "Hey guys since the qautermaster isn't here we are going out to eat pizza ok?" I nod and Max grunts.
Gwen,Dad,Max,and I all get inside the car. "So David whos the lucky lady" Max scoffed. A sudden sadness sweeps over me Dad knew it was a trigger for me. "Max not now.." Dad's usual chippy tone disappears. "What ever". He turns to me aquamarine meets e/c I have to say Max is pretty attractive, his clear tanned skin met with those aquamarine eye and his curly hair. I found myself staring but he didn't say anything either so that means he was staring too... "We're here!"
