~Third POV ~
Max and Y/n return to the group in a blushing mess. They sworn to not talk about their confessions to each other.
Nobody seemed to notice their brief disappearances.
Not even Neil.
"Anybody else tired? Or is it just me?" Gwen yawned and turned towards the group.
"Low... HP," Nerris huffed, "Critical damage..."
"..." Harrison dragged her to the front of the group.
Neil sat against a tree. He looked halfway dead inside
Space Kid ran beside Y/n, shoving Max in the process.
"Y/N! Ya wanna go to space with me?!" He said with a goofy smile.
"No, Space Kid, she doesn't want to go to space, now fuck off." Max said as he swatted at him.
Y/n elbowed Max and turned to Space Kid. "Sure! But later though."
His face lit up and "flew" off.
"Really Max? You can't be nice for a minute?" Y/n shook her head.
"Y/n...he said space. I couldn't help it. Plus, I could of said worse." Max shrugged.
"Honey, nothing could have been words than that." Y/n snorted.
Max smirked at Y/n. "Whatever you say, Y/n~"
It seemed from afar, Neil was nervously watching Y/n and Max converse between each other but keeps quiet.
Max takes note and smirks at Neil.
"Max..." Y/n huffs with an exasperated look.
"I'm not! I promise." Y/n raises an eyebrow at him "I want to brag just a little bit!" He whines.
"We swore.."
"Yeah I know. But I finally got something I want, without someone taking it from me." Max's voice softens a bit, looking into Y/n's creamy e/c eyes.
"Neil's heart would be crushed Max." Y/n says, shaking her head.
Max smirks devilishly.
"I know" he snakes his arms around her waist. Neil glances over at the two. He turns bright red and turns his head. He begins walking toward them.
"Max!" Y/n gasps.
"What the hell do you think your doing, Max?! Let go of her!" Neil grabs Y/n's sleeve, attempting to pull her away from Max.
Max clicked his tongue and tightened his grip. "No..maybe your the one who should let go.
Right, Y/n?"
He brushed his nose against her ear.
Y/n gave Neil an apologetic face.
Neil seemed to get the gist and released let go. He looked Y/n right in her eye.
As if he was looking for something. Something to make him understand his question..'Why him, Y/n?'
"After everything he's done to you-" Neil sighed. He turned away and walked toward the front of the group. Y/n glanced at Max, who had a smug face here, Neil's shoulders dropped.
Max took his arm from around her waist and leaned down to peck her forehead and murmur,
"This should be fun.."

After the long hike, all the campers and both counselors were inside their cabins and tents, sleeping peacefully. The only light that shown over the Camp was the half moons' almost dim light.
Everyone was fast asleep.
Except Y/n, who was wandering into the woods. All by herself.
She took one more glance at her phone and her face grew brighter. The only light source she had was her phones flashlight.
She was off to meet her friend.
"I'm here." Was what the message on her phone showed.
