It came back to that familiar feeling of you
The aching of my heart and the quickening of my pulse
The sad thoughts and daydreams
The truth and the lies
I was begging you to let me go
To tie the strings of my soul
To rip away the pain
So that I can finally sleep again
Just like all of the times I've ever prayed
I go unanswered
Stuck in the silence of my friends
And the loudest eyes I've ever seen
"Help me", I scream
YOU ARE READING
Open Palms
PoetryA book of hopefully less angsty poems than my previous one, "From the Heart". Don't worry, they're still mostly sad. *** Je ne peux pas vivre sans toi
