It had been about a month, as in the time Roman and Virgil had been living together, and neither of them could stand it for much longer.
They'd fight over the most over dramatic things, that really didn't matter in the grand scheme of things, but both of them just couldn't quit with it.
"Roman! How many times have I explained to you, don't leave your cat mug on the table with out a coaster under it!?"
Roman turned, annoyingly at his over paranoid, neat freak of a roommate. "Virgil, calm down! The cat mug is just too cute, I forget sometimes!"
Anxiety huffed loudly, he swore the only thing keeping him sane was the silly chats he'd have with a messaging...pal of his.
"Roman, you are so selfish! I'm going outside, maybe it will give you some time to think about your priorities."
With that, Anxiety left the house. He took a deep breath of the welcoming spring breeze, and exhaled. He pulled out his smart phone, almost by habit, and immediately opened up his messenger app.
He had been talking to this...friend of his for a while. He couldn't help but be enhanced by him, and he seemed like he was in a trance when he had the time to talk to him.
He picked up his phone, and instantly hit the call button. He needed to rant, his roommate was just too much to bare with on his own.
"Hello?" Said a very charming, sweet sounding voice on the other end of the phone.
Anxiety immediately smiled, something was so familiar about his voice, but not familiar enough to remember. Though, he couldn't care, or have the time to worry about that. He loved the sound of it.
"It's me." Anxiety replied, a bit of snarkiness in his tone.
The other voice at the end of the line chuckled, causing Virgil to feel warm. He loved that sound.
"Hey! How was your day?"
Anxiety instantly sighed, a noise the man at the other end of the phone constantly heard.
"It was your roommate again, wasn't it? I swear I'd beat him up! You know I would!"
Anxiety smiled, he loved hearing how concerned he was for him. No one had ever really done that for him. "I know...but it's okay. Meeting you tomorrow will make me feel at ease once again."
He had almost forgotten about their plans due to his awful roommate, they were to meet up with each other at a nice cafe he knew of.
Though, he hadn't really thought of it much, he was starting to get anxious.
The person on the other end yelped with excitement, making Virgil feel warm.
"Okay! Let's not spoil it by talking all night again! I'll see you tomorrow."
Anxiety laughed, "See you tomorrow."
He finally hung up the phone, sliding it inside of his back pocket. He felt so...happy. He hadn't been this excited before.
