You dropped your books into your locker, the metal rattling in response as you heaved a sigh, your brain still harboring that morning brain fog even though you'd already sat through two classes. Turning your attention across the hallway you caught sight of the dark-haired boy dressed in all black as he scrolled through his phone, not paying any attention to what was going on around him.

Min Yoongi.

He's known as the recluse of your school, but people always refer to him as a loner. It's a harsh label in your opinion. He often spent time by himself and never talked to anyone, which is how he got the name. Still, you find it a bit rude that people call him that. There's nothing wrong with being shy or introverted.
He walked by you, his ebony hair partially covering his eyes as he kept them glued to his phone screen. You could hear people whisper about him as he made his way down the hall.

"Look out, there's Yoongi."
"He's so scary."
"He's weird."
"I heard he's never spoken a word his whole life."

In all honesty, Yoongi was fascinating to you—well, fascinating might be a strong word. It was more like you were drawn to him and maybe it was his nonchalance that grabbed your attention. He just doesn't care. He doesn't listen to anyone, probably because his ears were usually plugged with headphones, but even when he didn't have any in and people were talking, he paid no mind to them.
You've wondered why he doesn't have any friends, besides the fact that he never spoke to anyone. He was a good-looking guy and you never heard anyone talk about how attractive he was. Then again, maybe you shouldn't be too upset about that.
You'd like to talk to him, strike up a conversation and maybe even become friends, or at the very least acquaintances, but he made you nervous. He always looked so... upset. The stoic and uninterested expression plastered on his face at all times was a bit intimidating and made it hard for you to approach him.

Once you finally snapped yourself back to reality, you realized almost everyone had gone to their respective classrooms leaving the hallway mostly vacant. You quickly retrieved the books you needed for your third class, pushing the locker door closed with a resounding racket of metal rattling and scurried off, immediately colliding with someone.
You let out somewhat of an oof sound, stumbling back a bit from the harsh impact.
Luckily, you didn't drop your things, but you almost did when you saw who it was you had bumped into.

Yoongi.

His droopy, shadowy eyes looked you up and down as he blinked slowly. You were left frozen and speechless not only by his striking looks, but his intimidating aura as well.
"Ah, I-I'm so sorry." You stuttered out foolishly, discreetly moving past him as you ran off to your next class.
Your face was on fire as you scampered down the almost empty hallway. Taking a quick glance over your shoulder you caught a glimpse of Yoongi standing just as you had left him, his dark eyes still glued to you.
