The warm and cozy scent of coffee and freshly-baked goods danced in the air, hitting your nostrils and making your mouth water. Cafe Bangtan is what the quaint establishment was called. It was a new small business that opened up in town and you were always eager to trying out local shops and cafes, so you decided to drop in and see what the establishment had to offer. Glancing around the small business, you spotted seven male employees moving about, every single one of them looking like they stepped out of a magazine. You couldn't help but wonder how this place wasn't packed with customers, especially with all the good-looking men working there.

You didn't even have to look at the menu, as you already knew what you wanted. The display case of desserts and pastries immediately caught your attention, drawing in your eager eyes like a moth to a flame. Stepping closer, you peered inside at all the mouthwatering baked goods. You had at least five different ones in mind that you'd selected to try, until an intoxicating aroma piqued your senses, that is.
Lifting your gaze, you caught sight of a dark-haired male with strikingly handsome features carrying a pan of freshly-baked muffins, their sweet scent almost as enticing as the man carrying them. He carefully set them in the display case one by one, lining them up neatly. As he did this, he noticed your staring and peeked up over the display case.

"Something catch your eye?" He inquired.
"Yeah. This stud muffin right in front of me." Is what you wanted to say, but decided against it since it wouldn't exactly be appropriate.
"The muffins." You gestured. "They smell amazing. They look really good too."
"They are. I made them myself. In fact, I make all the baked goods here." He relocated to the counter so he was no longer hidden behind the display case and could properly carry on a conversation.
"Really?" You questioned, now interested in the man's talents.
"Cooking and baking is my passion. It's one of my talents—well, besides being handsome."
At least he knows it. You thought to yourself amusedly.
"My name is Jin, by the way." He introduced himself, flashing a charming grin while pointing to his name tag. "And you are?"
"Y/n."
"Y/n." He repeated your name in a passionately melodramatic voice and grasped your hand, placing a kiss to the back of it.
"Jin, don't kiss the customers!" A tanned man passed by, delivering a swift smack to the back of Jin's head. "We went over this."
"Sorry, Namjoon." He sighed.
"Don't apologize to me, apologize to her." Namjoon ordered, carrying a plastic tub full of dirty cups and tableware to the back kitchen.
"Sorry about that." Jin rubbed the back of his neck, his ears sporting a deep pink hue.
"It's okay. I've never had an attractive man kiss my hand before."
"Attractive?" This seemed to interest him and grab his attention as a grin painted his plush and pillowy lips. "Interesting."
The heat in your cheeks rose in intensity as you realized you had said that aloud.
"No need to be embarrassed." He chuckled.

"So what can I get for you, cutie?"
"I..." You trailed off, clearing your throat as an excuse to get your thoughts together before continuing. "I'll have two blueberry muffins."
"Lovely choice. Would you like a drink to go with them? A latte maybe? I've seen a few customers order lattes with their desserts. Unless you're into bitter coffees, then I suggest the americano. It tends to pair well with sweets."
"I'll just have a latte."
"Alright." He gave you your total and you paid promptly. "Your order will be ready shortly." He winked.

You were a flustered mess when you went to take a seat, nervously playing with the sleeves of your sweater as you waited for the oh-so-charming barista, Jin, to return with your baked treats, which were no doubt still warm from being in the oven. You kept stealing glances at him as he prepared your latte, in awe of his striking visuals. Moments later, he came striding over carrying a plate with two large blueberry muffins and a small latte, resembling a butler rather than a barista.

Your order was placed before you and a charming grin was sent your way.
"Here you go."
Murmuring a bashful thank you, you pulled the plate closer to you.
Jin started to walk off so you could enjoy your food when you noticed something scribbled on a napkin underneath one of the muffins.

Call me sometime, princess
- Jin

A small, involuntary gasp from you caused Jin to turn around.
"Is something wrong?" He questioned, tilting his head to the side.
"No. Everything is fine."
His gaze softened and he shot you a small, closed-mouth grin. "Okay. Just let me know if you need anything."
"Will do." A single nod was given and you glanced back down at the phone number scribbled on the napkin.
Slipping the napkin into your bag, you made a mental note to text him later that afternoon.

Just as you assumed, the muffin was still warm, the taste making your mouth water as you took the first bite. It was nothing like those blueberry muffin mixes you'd buy from the grocery store, the flavor paling in comparison to what you currently held in your hand. The latte paired well with the baked treat and, to your surprise, wasn't overwhelmingly sweet.

You finished your light snack within a few minutes and just as you were preparing to leave, Jin scurried over to your table and started cleaning up, needing one more chance to speak with you.
"Did you enjoy everything?" He asked.
"I did."
"That's good." His eyes drifted down and he noticed the napkin with his number was missing.
"Should I expect a text from you later?" He asked, a faint smirk playing at his lips.
"Definitely."
