A Surprise For Rose

Alex and Ais and Dais as well as little Michael were all in the sun room having tea when she arrived.

Alex has her little brother in his lap and was feeding him chocolate cake.

It was so adorable that it made her think of his little brother and how Alex must miss him very much so seeing as how close the two were.

Her other brothers were on the love seat under the window. Aid was asleep on his brothers chest. It was cute because it made him look like a child.

His hair falling in ringlets spilled across his brothers chest where he laid his head.

What made it even better was that Dais had his arms wrapped around him so he wouldn't fall into the floor.

Smiling Rose walked to the table and sat down. Pouring herself some iced tea and getting herself a slice of the cake that Michael and Alex seemed to enjoy so much.

Before she took a bite she watched as Michael gave Alex a slobbery chocolaty kiss right on the mouth.

It was so absurdly funny that she almost dropped her fork out of shock at how sudden it was.

Alex seemed surprised but just wiped his face with a napkin and looked down at the child.

"Ha I wad wondering when he would do that!" Says Dais chuckling quietly so as to not wake Ais. "That boy has homosexual tendencies especially will people he likes the most. As far as i can tell he was born that way." He says with an amused smile.

"Well though it certainly was a shock i suppose it is fine he is after all just a boy. He does not know better yet." Says Alex who continued to feed the boy in his lap.

"Well i see nothing wrong with it if he does like boys better! But what are you going to do a few years from now when hes older and can properly make that decision? Sure hes five now but in say eight years or so he will hit puberty..." She says teasingly at her cousin.

Alex just looked down at Michael and couldn't help but wonder what he would look like older. Realizing the dangerous path his thoughts were headed down thanks to her teasing he cut a glare at her over Michaels head.

She just smirked and both her and Dais started laughing which woke the sleeping Ais who just looked around confused.

Later that day Rose and Michael were in her room with Ais. The little boy wanted to play dress up with his siblings. Rose thought it would be fun so she dragged her eldest brother into it as well.

On her bed was two of her dresses laid out. The first was a pretty deep red. The color of roses and blood. It had a black lace trim on the skirt and bodice. It had quarter length sleeves and a square cut neck line.

The second dress was silver. It was the same style as the red dress only it had pretty bows on the pleated skirt of the dress.

Rose had just finished making a dress for a small child. Michael and Ais were reading a book while she did this.

It was a soft yellow dress with a white bow in the back. It had a round neckline and a cute little collar that was about an inch and a half wide. She had also made matching slippers that were the same color yellow and had little white bows on it to match the dress.

She put Michael in his dress and buttoned up the back and tied the bow. While he put on his slippers she brushed out his hair and placed a matching yellow headband with his name in white stitching on his head.

Satisfied she placed him back on the floor to continue playing. Next she turned to an uneasy Ais.

"Come on Rose! I really don't need to do this." He pleaded trying to get out of it.

"Come on Ais i want to see what it would look like! Ive been wanting to do this for a while because of your pretty complexion! Besides Dais will probably love it!" She said as she started tugging his clothes off.

Ten minutes later both he and Michael were in their dresses. And Rose was pulling both down the hall by hand.

When she got to the sunroom where Alex and Dais still were the looked up at the three.

"Rose who do you have with you?" Her brother Dais asked. Looking closer he let out a chocked gasp.

"Michael?!.......Ais?!"

Alex looked shocked too.

"Michael wanted to play dress up and somehow our sister dragged me into it as well...." Said Ais blushing under His brothers appreciative stare

"Im surprised Rose! They both really look like young girls." Said Alex playing with Michaels naturally long hair.

"Yes, they do look like girls...im surprised at how well how they look as well." Said the king behind her.

All eyes cut to him.

"Daddy!" Michael exclaimed jumping into his fathers arms.

"I asked Rose to plway Dress up! And she took me and big brother Ais to her room. She made me a dress by hand cause hers were too big for me. And and! Ais he didn't want to dress up so Rose had to make him cause she wanted to see what he'd look like and that big brother Dais would want to see too!" Chattered an excited Michael.

Ais looked like he wanted the floor to swallow him whole.

Their father just laughed and said "Ais you really do look beautiful! It is a shame you were not born a girl! You look very much so like your mother did when she was young!"

Dais walked up behind Ais and wrapped his arms around his slender waist and placed his chin on top his left shoulder. "Dads right you look good! You shouldn't be embarrassed! Im surprised she didn't try to get me and Alex dressed up too!" He said loud enough everyone could hear but low enough that when it went past His brothers ear that it made him shiver.

"Oh i would have but Alex is too builded to put in one of my dresses and Dais is way too tall! With Ais there us only what a two or three inch difference?" Said Rose.

"Well either way you did a good job Rose they loon believable plus the dress you made for Michael looks splendid!" Her father complemented.

"Thank you Father i was happy with the results as well." Rose said happy with the praise. "Anyways did you need something?" Rose asked.

"Ah! I almost forgot! Yes i did come here for a reason Rose. Tomorrow a group of men from another kingdom will arrive here and i just wanted to let you know." Said the king placing a squirming Michael down on the ground who promptly pulled Roses skirts up and scooted underneath them and wrapped his little arms around her legs.

Alex made a move to retrieve the boy but Rose waved him away saying it was fine and that he does it all the time and turned her attention back to her father "What kingdom are they from?"

After a brief hesitation the king answered " Eon "

The room went silent...

No one said a word. Her elder brothers just look at each other worriedly and Alex gripped the table till his knuckles turned white.

Rose just stood there with a blank expression on her face. Underneath her skirts Michael gripped onto her legs tighter.

Then the king said "we do not know yet who from that kingdom is coming. Fore no one knows yet seeing as they did not say in the letter.Who exactly we would be receiving. So we do not know yet if it is in fact the Dragon Prince!"

"it will be him I am sure of it all that we can wonder now is if that order is going to show up again.... Should they show up what would happen? No one knows and that is the big problem here the only real problem. Should my Dragon come back like I'm sure he is how are we going to deal with the people after us?" Rose inquired.
