New Starts

The carriage moves unsteadily across the ground. I'm sitting here next to a duke! As for how I ended up this way. Well a few hours before the Duke had come to the church and claimed that I was the country's lost princess and then he came to bring me home. Now I'm here next to my uncle... And I should feel happy but I really don't feel anything.... "Don't worry Rose! You will stay at my home until the castle is ready for you to come back to where you belong. So that probably will be a few months" says Robert. "Thank you Uncle but I feel like this is all a dream and when I wake up. I will find that I fell asleep under a tree somewhere" I said to him.

That night we arrived at the Von Dare Estate. I was taken To my very own room. My luggage was placed on the floor at the foot of the bed. Looking around the room I saw that it was the most beautiful thing that ever seen for a room that is. Exhausted I collapsed into bed and fell into a deep sleep.

The next morning I woke Up and spoke out loud "Wow.... So it was not a dream after all! I really am a princess!" Getting up out of bed I got dressed and decided to explore the new place that I was supposed to call home for at least a few months. I wandered aimlessly after leaving my bedroom and somehow for myself at the door to the library. I love books so much so I guess I'll go and it was a huge room with floor-to-ceiling shelves and dozens of rows of shelves.

Exploring the new room I came across a mountain of books on the floor. Peering over them I saw young boy. Looking closer I saw that he was actually a lot older than a little boy and that he was more around my age. He was pale but very beautiful. He had long silver hair tied up In a ribbon. He was dressed rather finally so I figured he must be the son that Uncle was talking about or at least one of them.

I remember that uncle said his youngest son was three years old and his name was Andre Syle Von Dare. And that his other son who was also 18 years old just like me was named Alexial Matthew Von Dare. Suddenly the boy started to move around I think he is Waking up! He slowly opened his eyes and what I saw were these beautiful blue disks. It was like looking into the sky on a clear sunny day. "Hello umm my name is Rose..." The boy sat up and looked at me In the eye.

"My name is Alex you must be the princess that uncle said he was bringing back... So that means I guess were cousins." Looking down at this mysterious boy I still could not fathom why he would sleep on the floor in the middle of a bunch of books. I don't know why but when I looked at him I felt kind of like a shock run through my body. It was like this boy could see right through me... And I'm not sure I like it. One things for sure I have a feeling that this boy is going to mean something to me in the future. Something good or something bad I'm still unsure. Whatever it is I don't know if I'll be able to accept it easily...
