Ais & Dais Continued...

Ais leaned down and tucked a cute little pink blanket his sister Rose had made around his daughters body in her crib.

Even now on his daughters first birthday he couldn't believe that one year ago he and Dais were able to have a child.

His husband came up behind him and kissed him as he put his arms around his slim waist.

Looking down at their daughter he could only thank the dragons with all his heart and soul they were able to give them a daughter of their own flesh and blood.

That they both could have a child together even if it was physically impossible for him to beat a child no matter how much he wanted.

He remembered that day like it was just that morning.

1 year ago...

Elija and Rose came to visit after they scoured through ancient texts of Eon for a way for them to have a baby.

Elija heard it was possible because that was how his father had been born.

Their was a ritual that could only be done on an purple moon. That only came every 500 years.

They were in luck that that night was that night it would appear.

They had to draw a circle in dragons blood then place their own blood inside the circle as an offering to to the moon spirit.

If she deemed them worthy of a child she would transform their offered blood into a baby for them that would biologically be their own.

Elija knew they would be wonderful parents so he was more than happy to help them carry out the ritual.

Ais remembers how when they preformed the ritual their was a burst of purple light and inside the circle was a beautiful baby girl.

She had Dais's dark black hair but Ais's albino skin and ruby red eyes. She was perfect. She wad theirs.

They held her tiny body in their arms and cried tears of joy.

So that is what they named her Joy.

And because they wouldn't have her without Rose in their lives the named their baby fully Joy Rose Albear.

Coming back to the present there was a knock on their door. When Ais and Dais answered it it was Alex and their little brother Michael bearing gifts for the birthday girl who had just turned one that day. Now all they were waiting for were Rose And Elija to arrive who just so happened to be coming down the hall that moment.
