Mitch reconnects his wifi, noticing a change to a neighboring router name:
>EDM at 3AM isn't cool
He winces; that's aimed at him. But only New Guy'd be able to hear him, and he's not quiet either.
>Neither is Beyonce!
It doesn't change again until later that day.
>Don't insult Queen B, bitch
>Only Rih is Queen (besides myself)
He wakes the next morning to:
>Dinner tomorrow: Anti vs Lemonade
New Guy is cute and dinner sounds promising, so Mitch enters:
>Your going down!!
He doesn't notice his mistake until:
>*You're. And I hope so, queen
Mitch hopes so too.

They're watching some old movie, a romance or something. Mitch might be into it if it was a musical or at least had a soundtrack, but no. Unlike Scott though, he's not bored enough to fall asleep.
He leans forward to position himself between Scott and the teacher. Elbows him twice when he starts to snore. Manages not to laugh when he jolts awake, heart racing.
"Thanks," Scott whispers as they're dismissed
Mitch smiles. Some things work best as a team.
"Mr. Hoying," Ms. Campbell calls from the front. "Stay behind please."
And some things you have to face alone.
