Nico woke up to the bright sunlight shining in her face. "Ngh.. Maki close the blinds." Nico started feeling around the bed feeling an empty spot next to her. "Huh Maki. Wait where am I. Oh.... yeah." She said looking around the room realizing she was in Eli and Nozomi's guest bedroom. She flopped back down on the bed staring up at the ceiling. "I wonder if she's eating and getting enough rest." Nico said to herself. She looked over and grabbed her phone from the night stand seeing that she had 20 new messages from Maki. She started to feel sad, remembering the look on Maki's face before she left. Maki wasn't the best at expressing her feelings whenever she was sad or hurt but when she did it truly meant she was hurt. Nico didn't intend to hurt Maki but she was just so frustrated and fed up. "Damn hormones." Nico groaned. She opened her phone reading the text messages from Maki. 

"Nico please come back, I'm sorry"

"Can we just talk?"

"Please answer me.."

"Thank you for making me dinner."

"It's lonely without you here please come back home."

A few more text messages later; *sigh* "Maybe I should just go home.... No she has to learn the hard way." Nico said to herself putting her phone down. The down opened with two little heads peeping in Nico's room. "AUNTIE NICO!!!" The twins shouted running towards Nico and giving her a hug.  "Ohh my cute cute babies." "Auntie Nico is the baby here yet. Can we play with her?" Nico giggled "No not for a while Eva. The baby still has to grow some more in my belly." Nico said pinching her cheek. "Then when she's done growing in your tummy we can play?" "Haha no she will be too small to play but when she's born you guys can help me with the baby." "So that's where you two went." Nico and the twins looked up to see that Nozomi was standing at the door with her arms crossed and a smile on her face. "I told you two to come and brush your teeth. Were you two trying to hide from me hmm?" "I'm sorry mamma" the twins apologized. "Let's go you two and also Nico breakfast is ready. "Okay I'll be out soon." Nico said. "I hope she's okay." She thought.

"Eli I don't know what I did wrong. She just freaked out out of nowhere. Is she okay? She's eating properly right? Make sure she don't forget to take her prenatal pills." "Maki calm down. You're usually calm but now you look a mess. Have you been getting enough rest and eating. You look so stressed out. Order something to eat I have a lot of time today." 

"Okay but just answer my questions." "Yes she's fine Maki. She takes her prenatal pills everyday and she eats... A LOT. When are you guys going to make up with each other. We leave for the trip in three days. You don't want to be on a relaxing trip with a angry pregnant wife." Eli said rubbing her temples. 

"I know but she's not answering my phone calls or my text. She didn't even tell me what I did wrong. I'm not a damn mind reader what else does she wants me to do. *sigh* It's stressing me out. I have a lot to deal with at the hospital and now this." Maki said annoyed.

"First lets eat then we can finish having this conversation. Seriously you look terrible. If Nico saw you right now she would most likely freak out." "Tsk like she cares." Maki said taking a bite of her food. "She may not say it but she does worry about you everyday." "Both of you are just so stubborn."  "Okay Maki.... hear me out. Maybe she's just upset because you spend most of you time at work. I know that working at the hospital is really hard work especially since you're going to be taking to over soon but maybe she just feels lonely." 

"Why would she feel lonely? I'm working really hard so I can give her everything she wants." 

"Maybe the thing she wants isn't material things but it's you. All she wants is to spend time with you. It's the little things that matter to her. It's a shame that I know more about your wife than you do Maki haha." "S-SHUT UP you don't know more about her than I do and by the way how do you even know all these things." 

"I'm just smart." 

Maki glared Eli ".....Nozomi told you didn't she." Eli frozed turning her gaze from Maki not trying to give herself away. "N-n-no she d-didn't." "Oh yeah then why are you looking away at me and stuttering. Eli you're pretty easy to ready. Tell me now or else I will make sure Nico and Nozomi makes your life a living hell."

"God dammit fine!! Why do you always use them against me. Yes Nozomi told me everything. Now go and make up with your wife so she can stop ruining my sex life." "At least you have a damn sex life." "Ha blue balls." "Shut up Eli. Damn why did I have to call you."

"Because I'm you best friend, the only person that would actually listen to you problems, and you promised to buy me chocolate cake if I came. I can never turn down chocolate cake." 

*Sigh* "Whatever Eli." "Listen just go and talk with her and hear her out. She may not tell you immediately what's wrong but you just need to have patience. I know Nico loves you a lot and so do you. You guys just need to talk it out. Hopefully this vacation will really help you guys." 

"Okay but I have to work so I don't know when I can talk to her. Maybe not until the vacation."

"Dammit Maki what did I just say." "Okay okay I'll take a day off and go talk to her jeez you're so annoying." "Whatever buy me my chocolate to make up for your wife interrupting Nozomi and I every night." 

"I'm proud of her."  Maki giggled to herself.

Hi everyone sorry this chapter is a little boring. I wrote this in a hurry. I'll be back with a better chapter next week. BYEBYE!!
