   3:50 pm July 7

"AAAHHH!!! OH GOD IT HURTS SO MUCH!!!" Nico screamed in pain.

 "It's okay Nico just calm down and breathe in and out okay. In and out." 

  "Maki shut the hell up and stop telling me to stay calm. Are you pushing out a damn human being?! I don't think so. Make yourself useful and get the damn doctor I can't wait any longer!" 

"O-okay I'll get the doctor." Maki ran out of the hospital in a panic. Her mind was going haywire. 

      A few hours ago, she and Nico were getting ready to have lunch with their friends, Eli and Nozomi. It was a typical afternoon, nothing out of the ordinary. Maki was sitting on her living room couch while listening to some classical music. It always seems to put her at ease whenever she felt stressed out or annoyed. 

  She was a little upset with Nico at the moment because she told her ravenette haired wife to be ready by 1pm so they can have lunch with their friends. By the time she was done looking over some of her files from work and getting ready, Nico still wasn't even close to ready saying. When she asked Nico why she wasn't ready yet; Nico replied saying "An idol rushes for no one." 

Maki wanted to yell and tell Nico she's no longer an school idol but she knew pissing Nico off would be worse than being late, even though she hates never being on time. Fifteen minutes later Nico walks out, Maki thanks God silently in her head and walks up to Nico.

"Are you ready to go now Nico?" Maki looks up from her phone and looks up at her wife. Worry plasters her face and she sees Nico looks out of breath and in pain. Before Maki can ask her what's wrong, Nico grabs Maki's wrist and yelps out in pain.

"Maki...the baby..." 

"What's wrong with the baby?!" Maki was now beginning to panic. 

"M-My water broke AAHHH!! We have to go the the hospital now. The baby is coming!!" Nico managed to scream out through short breaths.

"W-What! Now? Oh my God! Alright let's go!" Maki seemed calm on the outside but on the inside she was panicking. No amount of hours spent at the parenting class and reading soon to be parents books could prepare her for this. This was reality and everything that she learned and read was now forgotten. She walked Nico to the car and ran to the driver side, pulling out from the side of the street and rushing to the hospital forgetting about all the traffic rules. She soon came back to her senses when Nico reminded her that she would like to get to the hospital alive. 

 As soon as she got to the hospital she ran out the car and rushed to Nico's side, opening the door and carrying her into the building. Nico was a little heavy given that she is pregnant but Maki didn't mind. The only thing that was on her mind was finding a doctor for her wife. 

The nurses quickly came to her aid and helped her put Nico in a wheel chair and carried her off to a room. They hooked Nico up to some machines to monitor her and baby and said they will be back soon with the doctor. 

Now here she is panicking again as she ran up to the nurse desk asking for a doctor for her wife. "Where is Eli when I need her?" Maki said to herself. "Ah I have to call everyone and let them know Nico is in labor." She quickly pulled out her phone dialing Eli's number. After the second ring Eli finally picked up. 

"Maki where are you? Nozomi and I have been waiting for an hour. The twins are getting fussy." 

"Eli, Nico is in labor. We're at the hospital right now. Call everyone else and meet here." With that being said Maki quickly hung up and ran back to the room where Nico is.
