'stop running'

the voice whispered softly as my shoes silently tapped the floor quickly, swiftly. my heart raced along with my mind. there was one thing i had to do and that was to keep running. he couldn't catch me, I was too quick, too agile but not strong enough to turn and face him. I was new to this- the force. all I had on my side was the incredible strength that had built up in my legs. it was due to having to run over dunes, across fallen ships, to deliver parts between outpost on Jakku. I was a Messenger, a delivery girl, a slave- running and running but never actually getting anywhere. it was a huge mistake-

'Stop Running, Now'

It demanded- this was ALL a mistake, a huge Misunderstanding. I wanted nothing more than to be paid for my last run when the troopers came. they were wanting to take him back to the starship, apparently, he owed a lot- a fuck ton- of money but instead of paying his debt, he traded me- a force sensitive slave, to the 1st order. he traded me, his quickest runner, to the 1st order- into the hands of the Jedi Killer.

'Running will cause more pain and suffering'

I kept going, pushing my strides longer, faster but I knew it was stupid. I was running an endless loop unless I got onto a ship and could leave but I've never flown before. I needed to hide, somewhere were droids nor humans could detect me. but this place was swarming with people and especially now that I had escaped from the General's presence.

'last warning, stop running before I make you'

no, I will not give up, I'll die trying to escape. I blurred out all the excessive noise in my head and focused on finding some spot to hide but it was near impossible to find an area that didn't need a passkey. I ran around corners, skidding silently but regained my speed. It seemed like this hallway never ended but soon enough I rounded another corner and was face to face with a squad of white troopers. "Stop her!" one yelled and the advanced towards me. I turned back around and started down the almost never-ending hallway again. I went to round a corner again but a sudden force pulled my feet out from under me and I went sliding across the slick black floor. I scrambled up but couldn't because pain flooded my upper thigh. I panicked, struggling to get to my feet, not daring to face what was behind me but before i could make any moves to escape, i was trapped. "I told you to stop running, but you wouldn't listen" a deep voice growled. I felt the looming shadow get closer and it almost felt like time was slowing, dragging out my demise. "Do it,"I hissed through clenched teeth. "Just fucking do it,"I added as a dark figure entered my vision. A gentle grace of leather caressed my jaw before he finally appeared in front of me, intimidating with his height and build. "That would be too easy. After all these years of hunting, I've finally found you again," a leather-clad hand ran over my cheek and down my next but pulled away quickly. "I don't know what you're talking about!" i snapped at him as Troopers began to flood in from behind. "Of course you wouldn't, you'll realize who you are soon enough," and with that my consciousness was snapped into darkness.
