When Justin first placed his gaze on Tyler, everything stopped. The pure fear and defeat that was whirled in the younger boy's gaze had his heart in pieces. However, Justin was extremely glad when Tyler realized it was him. He instantly inhaled and relaxed his tense muscles.
Justin knew that Tyler was going to need time to recover. It'd be a long and difficult process, but perhaps he could help the younger brunette. After all, he did have an attraction to him. An idea struck his mind suddenly and he was positive that it'd help Tyler. Justin would take them on an adventure.

Upon leaving the Brown's household, Tyler appeared happy with himself for even making it past the threshold. Justin's lips curled upward into a smile. "Look at that. You made it. Im proud of you, Tyler." He complimented smoothly, grasping the other boy's hand in his.
Tyler glanced over to Justin and chuckled. "I made it." He repeated. Determination filled his once anxious gaze. Justin nodded and laughed lightly, leading Tyler into the car before getting in on the opposite side. "Alright, any requests on where to go first?" He asked. The smaller brunette shook his head. "It's your idea. You lead the way." He replied with a playful smile. This left Justin to raise his eyebrows and smirk. "Challenge accepted."
It was moments before Justin had brought Tyler to the first destination on their adventure. A cafe. The cafe was small, yet very cozy. Fairy lights were strung up over the entrance and more could be seen inside. Shades of brown coated the walls, inside and out. Barely anyone was there. Seeing as Justin was new to the area, he wasn't sure if it'd be the best place. Even if they weren't completely sure they'd love this place, they exited the vehicle.
By hand, Tyler was lead into the cafe. When they entered, they were greeted by a scrawny looking girl. She was older than them but she was quite pretty. The girl had blonde hair that flower just passed her shoulders. Her name tag stated that her name was Grace. "Hello! Take a seat wherever you'd like and I'll be there to take your orders in a second." She said with a smile.
Tyler responded with a simple half smile. His gaze spotted a booth in the corner of the petite cafe, and made a beeline for it. Justin followed behind him as he was dragged by the younger boy. It was cute that Tyler was more open to being the leader, this made Justin smile brightly to himself.
Once they took a seat, as promised, Grace trotted over to them. "What can I get for you two today?" She asked, handing them menus. The menus were laminated and held many varieties of food options. Justin glanced at Grace before turning his jade optics to offer a devious stare at Tyler. "A chocolate milkshake with two straws, please." He ordered, raising his eyebrows playfully to Tyler.
Grace nodded to signal that she copied their orders. Then, the blonde turned on her heels and paced away. The blush that crept onto Tyler's cheeks created a tingly feeling in Justin's stomach. He was happy that Tyler had let him order, it was a sign that he was possibly getting more comfortable with Justin.
It didn't take much longer for Grace to return with their chocolate milkshake and two straws as requested. She placed it in the middle of the table and smiled. "Okay, and are we ready to order food?" The girl asked, ready to jot it down again. Seeing as Tyler wasn't making a move to speak and was gazing down the menu, Justin cleared his throat. "I'll have a burger, please." He spoke clearly.
Now, he glanced over to Tyler. The younger boy shifted his gaze hesitantly to Grace after she'd written down what Justin ordered. "I'll h-have the same." He spoke, his voice faltering slightly. Grace glanced up from her small notebook. "Got it. I'll be back soon!" She exclaimed before sauntering off into the kitchen.
Although it seemed small, Tyler was content with his accomplishment of being able to face a stranger. It was easy though, considering Grace was so kind and upbeat. It didn't take long before their orders had been brought to them. They are together in peace.
"Justin, I just want to thank you for taking me out today. Also, I'm sorry if I was rude to you earlier." Tyler spoke softly as he pushed the leftovers of his food to the side. Justin sighed and brought his hands to hold Tyler's.
Tyler watched as his hands were taken into Justin's. "Look, I understand that I probably don't look like the most loyal or trustworthy guy. To be honest, I'm glad you even let me take you here. I'm also happy that you didn't let your first judgement get the best of you. It's a pleasure to be here with you Ty." Justin spoke calmly.
This only made Tyler's cheeks flush pink yet again. Even though Justin was being absolutely adorable, Tyler had another focus. He giggled as he motioned to their half-filled milkshake. "Shall we?" He asked with a toothy smile. Justin nodded as he leaned in to take a sip from the straw.
The younger boy across from him did the same. Justin couldn't help but smile along with Tyler, seeing how close their faces were at this point. He decided to be a bit daring. So, he dropped the straw to try and place a kiss on Tyler's nose.
Tyler caught on as soon as Justin began to lean closer. So he came up with his own little sneaky plan, too. He lifted his head slightly so his lips met the older boy's.
The moment lasted a bit longer than intended, but neither one of them seemed to mind. It actually would've lasted a bit longer if Tyler hadn't pulled away because he heard their waitress coming.
The waitress gave them their bill, and Justin quickly put out the money to pay. Tyler of course would have, but he didn't have any money on him since he never knew they were going out to get food. He gazed appreciatively at Justin as their bill was taken away from the table and the waitress had left. Within a few minutes, the boys were up and already exiting to Justin's car.
Their hands dangled dangerously close together before Justin pulled Tyler's into his and intertwined their fingers. Tyler smiled over at Justin as they headed to the car. This time, Justin watched Tyler get into the car by himself while he entered in the driver's seat. Although the sun was beginning to set, Justin had one more place he wanted to take Tyler. The day wasn't over just yet.
