The second his eyes flickered open, fear coursed rapidly through his veins. He was greeted by dust and darkness. If it wasn't for one small barred window, the room would be pitch black. The stale air radiated from every corner of the empty room. Walls of concrete blocking the brunette from the outer world. Cold stone flooring that aches his young spine.
Although none of the above was what drove him completely and utterly insane. It was the silence that broke Tyler's sanity. All alone in the petite room. Stripped from his family and friends. Stripped from his person. His Justin.
Broken pieces of his memory came flooding back. He started to connect what happened and why he was there. The beach. Justin took him to the beach and he remembered the intense feeling of euphoria that he'd never experienced before. It was truly an exhilarating feeling. There was also the memory of getting ripped from Justin's arms and thrown into the back of a vehicle. Faint voices cluttered his memory as well but they were just out of reach for him to decipher.
His main priority now needed to be staying alive and finding Justin. Tyler wasn't even sure if Justin was alive. The sheer thought ripped at his heart strings and tore at his mind. He wasn't even sure how long he'd been in the unfamiliar location yet he's still worried for Justin. Even if he couldn't admit it the older boy held his heart. Anyone could recognize that.
It was obvious that it'd be awhile until Tyler could figure out a plan to escape, though. The young brunette scanned over his body and noticed rips in his pants and dark bruises coating his arms. A small hole with a trickle of dried blood was on his left arm. Most likely an injection. Tyler shivered at the thought.
Tyler struggled to push himself to his feet. When he succeeded he was wobbly and wary. His legs twitched in pain and he felt his muscles cramp. A low grunt escaped from his throat and he collapsed to the ground again. This time he glanced through the rips in his pants only to find a few slits with dried blood and patches of bruising. He couldn't resist standing though.
Another attempt was easy enough and he was standing nearly sturdily. He shuffled his way to the small barred window and clasped his hands around the cold metal bars. The brunette sighed and spotted an immense metal door. Rust splotched the corners. The door covered from top to bottom. Not a chance he could get out through there. Suddenly, Tyler just felt hopeless. What was there that he could do to escape?
Just as he backed himself into a corner and leaned on the wall, the heavy door swung open. Behind it was an immense man. Tyler was sure he recognized him from somewhere. It took a few minutes before he was able to connect that this man was one of men that kidnapped him. His breath caught in his throat as he stared at the man.
The muscular figure walked towards Tyler. He shook his head rapidly and slid his back down the wall, sitting in the corner and clutching his knees. A nasty flow of fear was evident in his eyes. Even his silent protests weren't enough for the man to stop. Instead, he hastened his pace and snatched Tyler's arm. He brought Tyler to his feet swiftly and clenched his fist on his arm.
The young brunette cried out as he was pulled to his feet. He seemed to whimper at the harsh hold the man had on him. There was no way to escape the grip. It hurt him every time he made a wrong move. Despite his desperate attempts and whines to escape, the man kept dragging him along. Soon enough they were out of the claustrophobic room. He was lead into an actually stunning house.
Tyler was hardly able to believe that the room he was imprisoned in belonged to this seemingly perfect house. The house was clean and spotless. It was immense, and chandeliers dangled from the ceiling. A pleasant scent of lavender laced the air. Dark mahogany coated the walls and some tables and other furniture filled the space. If Tyler wasn't in danger he'd actually enjoy the house.
Not even the lovely house could distract him from the situation. Tyler pulled and twisted but only managed to hurt himself. It wasn't long until they arrived at an elevator. The man guided Tyler in and the brunette saw that he was on the underground level. Although the man pressed the button to the penthouse level of the building. Wherever he was headed must be the room that belonged to the leader.
A delicate little tune played in the elevator. It brought the smallest of smiles to Tyler's face. If only he could enjoy it. A ding sounded from the elevator as the doors opened and the man placed his free hand on Tyler's lower back to guide him. The penthouse was luxurious. Windows showed the still forest. It was trees and woodland for miles. The thought of being stranded alone out here frightened Tyler. There was no hope that anyone would be able to find him.
There wasn't much time for him to sulk though. The man soon dropped his grip on Tyler and spun to walk out. Tyler glanced around and soon spotted another man. This man was very familiar. It was the exact same man that had broke into Tyler's house. Mixed in with his fright was a growing anger. Of all people, the crazy dude chose him?! The young brunette didn't understand why.
The man stood and cleared his throat. He appeared to be at least 6'3. His hair was cropped and her black. Muscles lined his toned body. This guy must've been in his thirties. Although the most fearsome feature about him was his eyes. They were dull and gray. Almost like smoke. Tyler felt threatened just by looking at them.
Neither of them spoke. Tyler tried to steady his rugged breathing and adverted his gaze to the floor. He couldn't look into those dangerous eyes for any longer. The man inhaled sharply and confidently sauntered to Tyler. He snatched the young brunette's chin to make him hold eye contact.
"Welcome Tyler. My name is Max, and you are very important."
