HANJI's POV:
While Levi went to his room, I took the chance to go outside and smoke. But before I did, I made sure to turn on the t.v. so he wouldn't notice my disappearance. Lighting up the cigarette, I placed it between my lips to relieve my stress.
'Technically, I haven't fallen for Levi, so I can still smoke.' I thought to myself as I was breathing in the toxic smoke as my eyes closed, a group of teenagers walked by me, covering their mouths and noses. Making disgusted noises before they went out of earshot.
I sighed, looking at the cancerous stick rolling it between my hands, "People like that just make it harder and harder to quit..."
Squinting my eyes at the stick in my hand, I gave in one last time before throwing it the ground, "He's right, I have to quit. For my health and my future kids too." A sudden sadness washed over me as I remembered what Rico had told me.
Truth be told, I still hadn't decided on whether or not I wanted kids. If they could stay babies forever, then hell yeah, I'd have one. But the eighteen years, loss of money, and forever commitment seems a bit tad too much for me.
'No wonder I've never been in a relationship longer than two months.' I laughed to myself as I made my way back to the apartment. Discarding my clothes to throw Levi off when he leaves his room.
I threw on a pair of sweats and a tank top, pulling my brown, unkempt hair into a messy ponytail. Lightly jogging to the bathroom to brush my teeth real quick, finishing it off with mouthwash and a mint. By that time I heard Levi come out of his room, so I quickly flushed the toilet. Hoping that he wouldn't actually catch on to what I was doing in here. The short male laid across the couch, watching the show I had picked out.
"Took a shit?" He asked, not even turning to face me.
"Yep." I replied, popping the 'p'. Laying next to him, pressing my cold legs against his.
"Oi, stop! Your feet are cold as fuck!"
I chuckled, "Get use to it Shorty, this is what I do."
"Really?" He raised one thin eyebrow, "You mean other than sneaking out and smoking?"
I mumbled, my hands flashing up lazily, "Oh no, you caught me."
Levi sat up and moved right next to me, covering us with the blanket. Laying his head on my chest.
I looked down at him puzzled, keeping my tone light, asking, "What are you doing?"
"I looked it up, we're cuddling. Apparently couples do this."
"Oh, so we're a couple now?" I asked, a hint of a smile on my lips.
"Yes, now shush. I'm trying to watch this."
I kept quiet as I stared down at him, he was always my best friend. Never saw anything more with him, maybe he can actually help me beat this. I sure hope so.
"Your taste in shows are shit."
"Hey!"
