LEVI's POV:
"Your total will be $6.92." The cashier told me, popping her gum in the process. Silently cursing myself for not checking the price on the candy bar, I pulled a ten dollar bill out of my wallet.
"Your total will be $3.08, have a nice day sir."
I murmured the same to her as I pushed the door open, shoving my hands into my pockets as I walked down the sidewalk. Sighing, I kept my head down as I kicked a pebble, my feet stopping as I looked up. Nearly colliding with a man.
"Sorry." I mumbled, waiting for him to move so I can be on my way.
"Well, well, well."
'No. It can't be.'
"Little brat didn't grow much now, did he?" The man sneered as he taunted me.
"What the fuck do you want Kenny?" I growled, glaring at him.
"What? Can't an uncle check on his dear nephew? It's been a long time, boy, or perhaps I should start calling you man."
"Tch-"
I was cut off as he laughed, "Nah, pretty sure there's a height requirement for that."
"Disappeared after eleven years? Looking for money now, aren't ya Kenny?"
The tall man scratched the back of his head, "It's really been that long? Heh, must've lost track of time."
I rolled my gray eyes, "Consindering you abandoned me when I was twelve, yeah, time went by pretty fast for you. Now move, I gotta get back to my sick girlfriend."
Kenny gripped my wrist, turning me towards him, "I'll be seeing you around Levi."
'Tch, we'll see about that. After eleven years, he finally decides to come back. What great news for me...if I was a struggling teenager again.'

Snores came from Hanji's room as I closed the door behind me. Digging into the bag, I headed into her room to place the medicine on her nightstand.
I jumped back, "What the fuck Hanji?!" I yelled at the brunette as she sat wide eyed and awake in front of me.
"Praise the walls, you're back! Do you know how long I've been waiting to do this?! My battery is almost dead, what took so long?"
"Oi, you could've charged it, ya know." I turned the attention away from me as I tossed her, her candy bar.
"Thank you Shorty, but seriously, it's a ten minute walk from here to Walgreens. What happened?" Concern showing in her brown eyes as she took a bite of her snack.
I opened my mouth before closing it, mentally battling myself wondering if I should tell her.
"It's nothing." I answered, "I'll tell you later."
The woman slowly nodded as she patted the spot next to her, lifting the blanket up so I could lay beside her. My body was aching from shivering and my eyes begged for sleep, but I pushed it aside. Before finally giving up and slowly drifted off to sleep.
"You don't have to tell me now Levi, but just know I'm here for you when you need me." Hanji said before kissing my forehead, sleep digging her nails into me before successfully taking me away.
A/N: SO SORRY FOR THE LONG UPDATE!! I'VE BEEN BOMBARDED WITH SCHOOL AND SOFTBALL AND WORK! I'M EXPECTING TO GET BACK ON DAILY UPDATES BY NEXT WEEK!
