THIRD PERSON's POV:

He could smell it, the stench of smoke lingering off her coat. Burning his nose as he glanced at the woman beside him, deep in thought as she didn't sing along to her favorite song. The rain pounded against the windshield as Levi tried his best to see the road, making sure he wouldn't get them into a wreck before they got home.

The man pulled his jeep into the parking lot as he reached into the backseat for an umbrella, "Ready?" He asked, looking at her with an amused look.

"Why? Think I'll melt?" The brunette teased as Levi rolled his eyes and flicked her forehead, rushing out in the rain to her side.

The rain collided with the ground, splashing against her pants leg. Both of them panting as Hanji rubbed her arms for warmth inside the elevator. Levi wrapped his arm around his girlfriend as the elevator's doors opened, allowing them to leave.

"How was the appointment?" He asked as soon as they got in.

"It was..." She hesitated before smiling, "The same as usual."

"But the test results came in, didn't they?"

Hanji's lip quivered, unsure if the news for her was good or bad. She had yet to decide, "Mixed it up, they gave me a check-up anyways.

His gray eyes followed her movements, unsure of whether or not to believe her. They both went into the kitchen to decide on what they wanted to eat, Hanji sat on the island while Levi stood by the counter.

After moments of fighting it, he decided to ask the question that has been bugging him since the drive home.

"So tell me Hanji, why were you smoking?" The raven haired male asked as his eyes traced the pattern on the counter.

Hanji's smile faltered, "I think the lysol got to you Shorty."

His fist slammed against the counter-top, causing Hanji to flinch slightly, "Bullshit! I know you were smoking, why?!"

"You said to only quit smoking if I was falling for you." Her voice was surprisingly calm as her brown eyes lingered on his figure.

Levi's heart dropped, his stomach churned as he registered what Hanji had said to him. Straightening his posture, he turned to her with a cold look in his gray eyes, "I did say that, didn't I? Well, at least you told me that before I fell for you anymore."
