"Honestly, Ivana shut the fuck up. Bruno Mars is one of the best artists ever."
"The Weeknd is better." Jocelyn spoke up from her book.
"Mom!" I screamed to the top of my lungs.
"Fuck, my ears still do need to hear The Weeknd's new album. "
"They're just gonna' bleed anyway." Ivana shrugged her shoulders.
"Says the one that listens to Twenty One Pilots."
"Ok but thier Vessel album is thier best album ever."
"Yes girls?" My mother walked into my room with a face mask on.
"Oh God, the Grinch has arrived." I mumbled.
"Its worth it for the cleat skin but what would you like sweetheart?"
"Who's better The Weeknd or Bruno Mars?"
"I'm gonna' say The Weeknd because Bruno Mars' latest song with Cardi B is horrible." She spoke before leaving.
"I love your mother. " Jocelyn laughed.
"She's such a bitch. "
"Says the worst bitch ever." Ivana said as she typed into her phone.
I finished the last coat of green nail polish on my nails when my phone rang. I looked and it said "Mr. Boss man" aka "My father".
"Father?"
"Camara, come to my office."
"I have friends over."
"My office. Now."
I hung up the phone and huffed as I stepped off my bed.
"Boss man calls." Ivana spoke.
I walked out of my room and down the long hallway until I reached my father's office.
"Yes, Daddy?"
"You have a job at "Calvin's."
"The boutique downtown?"
"Yes, that one."
"Why do I need a job? I mean, we make plenty of money. "
"I make plenty of money, you just spend it."
"Not true." I crossed my arms.
"You start Monday. "
"But Daddy.."
"Dont but daddy me, your not talking Your self out of this Camara."
"Ugh, fine." I rolled my eyes before I walked away with my skirt swaying with my hips.
