Penelope's POV

"Mama, I have to go." I placed my hand in hers. She stared at me with the same blue blank eyes. "I love you." I kissed her on the forehead before I walked out of the room. I walked into the lobby before I saw a familiar person.

"Hey sweetie!" She came running up to me. "How is she?"

"She just stared at me like I'm a complete stranger."

"Well, Alzheimer's is a hell of a thing." She put her hand on my shoulder. I shook my head because I really didn't have anything else to say. I wish my mother wasn't like this but my sister always did know how to make me feel better.

"Go ahead to school and I'll stay with mom." She hugged me before I walked off into the parking lot. I walked to my car and threw my book bag into the passenger seat. I instantly felt the tears streaming down my face. By this point, rivers were carved into my cheek and my eyes just didn't want the tears to stop. It's been two years and she still has yet to get better. Everyday I visit her in the hospital she gives me the same blank expression. I miss my funny, excited, outgoing, mother that raised me. I looked into my mirror, wiped away the tears, and replaced them with makeup. I can't let people at school see me lacking especially since I have a mission. I started my car and drove towards the school.

"Hey Penelope." About four different people said to me as I arrived to the school. I waved with a simple smile before I walked towards Camara. Me bothering her everyday makes my day happier.

"Hey guys!" I said with the biggest smile on my face. "Are we skipping eighth period today?" Ivana and Jocelyn shook their heads as they started their own conversation. Camara stood there silently smiling at her phone. She has to be texting Adym. I lifted my arm up and hit Camara's phone which made it hit the ground. "Oh my gosh! I am so sorry." I said as I picked it up off the ground. The phone was completely shattered. Yes.

"What the fuck, Penelope!" Camara yelled as she saw her phone. I started making the fake tears come so I could play the victim.

"I'm so sorry." The tears came. "I'm such a clumsy person sometimes."

"You know what.." She threw her arms up in the air. "I'll just get another one." She walked away towards her homeroom. Mission complete: Camara's day is ruined, again.

————————————Camara's POV

I sat down in my seat just staring at my phone. My fists were balled up and I could literally feel my body boiling. I can't believe this bitch just knocked my phone out of hand and thought it was ok. We all know she did that on purpose.

"Camara." I heard Adym's voice. "Are you ok?" He looked at me which caused me to walk up to his desk.

"Penelope." I whispered before I threw my phone on the desk. His eyes went wide as he inspected my shattered phone screen. I stood there with my arms crossed and I could feel my face turning red.

"We'll get you another one after school." He put my phone in his drawer. I shook my head and sat back down at my seat. She's been getting away with too much things and everyone thinks she's a complete sweetheart. I'm going to get her back. I'll crush her fucking soul.
