Malachi POV
I got dressed in my suit and tie and my church shoes. A youngin was looking good. I put on my watch and gold chain with matching gold earrings. I had a fresh cut and I felt nice. Daddy took a few pics of me before letting Leanna in. She was so beautiful. She wore a black and red dress. Her hair was straight and she had a tiara on her head. Her heels made her look taller than me but everyone knows she short.
After taking pics, We got into Mercedes Benz and rolled out to the school. There was a red carpet leading to the door. I grabbed my baby hand and walked up to the door. Parents took pictures as we walked by and gave us compliments. Our friends were standing at the photo line waiting for pictures. We joined them after receiving a ticket from the woman.
Leanna and I were currently dancing together to a Spanish song that was playing. She was teaching me how to dance to it because I couldn't. The wobble started playing and we all started dancing to it. Leanna worked her hips to the beat while I stood behind her. That girl can dance!
The dance was almost over and Leanna was hungry. I called daddy to see if he could take us to ihop or something. He said yes and that he was outside. I grabbed Leanna and we walked out. I opened the door to daddy's truck and got in. Leanna laid on my shoulder during the car ride causing my arm to fall asleep.
We pulled up to IHOP and we got out. Surprisingly it wasn't packed and there were plenty of seats. I said goodbye to daddy and walked inside with Leanna. We sat in a booth right across from each other. Our waiter came by and asked us questions.
"Hello guys, I'm Kai(khai)I will be serving you today. Can i start y'all guys off with some drinks."
"I'll have strawberry lemonade." Leanna said nicely.
"Umm can I have a root bear please."
"Ok, and do you know what you want or do you need more time?"
"Ummm. We're ready."
"Ok"
"I would like the French toast with bacon."
"I would like the same thing except I want egg whites."
"Ok. I will be right back with your drinks."
I smiled at Leanna who was looking around at the area.
"Baby girl."
"Yes?"
"I love you."
"I love you too."
"Leanna I'm not over there I'm over here." I laughed.
"I know babe but he looks like he doing something he not supposed to be doing."
A man with dark clothing approached the building and pulled down his hoodie. He walked in and pulled out a gun while telling everyone to get down. I grabbed Leanna and pulled her down. She started crying and I told her to be quiet. He was in front while we were in the back.
