Malachi POV
I answered the phone as. It was my boss. His name was Rodney. I sighed as his voice echoed through the phone.
"12 more hours Hawthorne or you and your family are dead, understood."
"Yes sir. Can I talk to my baby please."
"Malachi! Please hurry! Ahhh! Malachi" leiana cried.
"Baby I'm coming. I'm so sorry."
The phone hung up and I sighed louder. Momma looked back at me and shook her head. She wasn't mad anymore. She was disappointed. I looked out the window and noticed we were at the bank. I got out the car and raced into the building. The line wasn't long so I walked up to the teller and gave her my information. I took out the money and made my way back to the car. I got in and sighed. Daddy started the car and raced back to the trap.
When we got there, I got out the car and went into the trap holding the money in my hands. Daddy followed me with his guns.
Destiny POV
Two guys walked out the trap towards the car laughing. I locked the doors and hopped into the drivers seat. They started banging on the window and started yelling at me.
It's a trap.
I sighed and put the car in drive. I drove forward into the trap and the front of the house fell. Malachi, Nick, and leiana ran into the car. I locked the door and raced home.
"Malachi what the hell did you get us into."
"Mama I got y'all into.. Bonnie and Clyde."
