Chapter three
HALEY'S POV
I woke up again and looked at my watch. Its 9:37 am. I'm still surprise that my watch works. I mean it is the zombie apocalypse after all. I slowly undid our legs and got up. I went to the kitchen and made me a bowl of cereal. After I finished eating it I grabbed a towel and headed for the bathroom.
I started the shower and plugged up with IPod to my docking station. I played Wake Me Up by Ed Sheeran, it's my favorite song. I got in the shower and started to sing along.
"You have a beautiful voice"
I jumped. It took me a min to realize that it was Erin. I blushes a little.
"O-oh um thanks'' I said.
"No problem"
"If your hungry you can go get you a bowel of cereal"
"Okay thanks"
"Yup"
I heard him walk away. I finished my shower and went into my room to change. I put on skinny jeans, a black tank top, a lose black tank top, and a grayish blue jacket, and black boots.
I brushed my hair and grabbed a hair tie just in case I might need it later.
I reloaded my guns and slung my shotgun over my shoulder. I also put my two pistols and put them in my belt. I have one of those belts police officers had when there were police.
I went into the kitchen and found Erin putting his bowel in the sink.
"You should get dressed we need to get some more supplies since there is two of us now" I said.
"Haha that's true", he began, "Ill be right back" He went into our room and changed. He came back out in the same outfit as yesterday.
"I guess I need to add clothes for you on the list of things we need" I laugh.
He looked up an down at himself.
"What wrong with this?" he asks.
"Hm? oh nothing it's just they are dirty and I'm pretty sure you don't want to wear that everyday. Especially when we run into trouble and well things can get dirty." I said.
"Oh that makes since" he laughed a little. I smiled.
"We should get going" I said.
He nodded. I turn off all the lights and everything. Then we went out. I locked the door behind me with my key. It wasn't much to hold up anything but it works.
"Here" I said while handing Erin one of my pistols and a few loads.
"Thanks" he smiled. 'His smile is perfect' I thought.
ERIN'S POV
I smiled at her and she smiled back.
'Man I love it when she smiles' I thought to myself. I watch her walk ahead of me her long and pretty light brown hair swinging back and forth.
'Damn it Erin don't fall for her you'll just lose her like before' I frown at this thought.
"Erin? Something wrong?" Haley asks.
"Hm? Oh no I'm fine" I said with a smile. She nodded and smiled.
We walked to what used to be Walmart, and we grabbed some food and water. Then we went to the clothes. She held up a shirt to me.
"This looks good on you" she smiled and giggled a little.
"What size are you in pants?" she asked.
"A large"
She held up some jeans and nodded.
"This should do now I'm going to get me some more clothes and you can pick out some shoes over there and watch out clickers love this place."
She giggled.
"Yes ma'am" I laughed.
I went over to the shoe and picked out some black converse. I found my size which suprienly they had and went over to Haley. She had gotten some black skinny jeans, a few shirts, and some black converse like mine.
"Hey we have the same taste in shoes" I laughed.
"Huh?" she looked at my shoes than hers. "I guess we do!" she laughed.
Haley grabbed two backpacks one for me and one for her they both were blue and black. We put our stuff in the bags and headed out. We talked some more and got to know each other pretty well in the matter of an hour.
I feel like I've know her forever. Like she's my best friend.
" I want to show you something!" she said smiling and grabbing my hand and pulling me into a building.
"Okay what is it?" I said while laughing and smiling.
"It's a surprise silly!" she smiled and giggled. I nodded. We ran as she pulled me into a big room. I assumed we were in a mall.
"Come on!" she said while pulling my hand. I had just realized I was blushing at the fact of us holding hands. I smiled. "I'm comin I'm comin!"
We ran down the stairs and Haley turned around to look at me.
"Close your eyes" she said.
"Why?" I asked.
"For the surprise duh! Now will you just do it?!" she said smiling.
I closed my eye and felt her pull me somewhere. We walked for a little and then stopped.
"Okay we are here now open your eyes" she said.
I slowly opened my eyes.
"Wow.." was all I could say.
