Chapter eleven
HALEY'S POV
I woke up really early this morning around 6:00 am. I got up out of bed, making sure not to disturb Erin's sleep, and went to the kitchen. I made me some Earl Gray hot tea and sat down on the couch. I had found a ton of this tea which I'm happy about cause its my favorite hot tea!
"This is so good" I whispered to myself.
After I drank all of it, I got out my sketch book,pencil, colored pencils, and started to draw. I just kinda let my hand do the work I don't even realize what I draw sometimes. This time it decide to draw Erin. It was looking pretty good for a small outline and then I went into full on drawing mode for me. I drew his flippy hair and his perfect smile. After a hour or two it was done and I started to color it in. I colored his new blue hair, his Soul Eater shirt, his jeans, and converse.
When I finished I look at it and smiled. Then I signed my signature.
'God I really like him'
I flipped the page to look at all my other draws. Then I got to my favorite one it was of Soul and Maka from Soul Eater. Soul is resting his chin on Maka's shoulder, with his arms wrapped around her, and she's smiling. (Sorry I ship them together some much! XD) They are partners, best friends, and in love. They have it perfect. They are so in love they didn't even realize it until they confessed to each other.
'I wish I could have love like that'
I sighed and closed the book. Just then I heard Erin walking down the hallway , so I quickly hid the book under one of the couch pillows.
"Morning!" I said smiling sheepishly. I did not want Erin to see that I drew him or my other drawings.
"Morning" he say sleepily. He walks into the kitchen and gets him a pop tart. He then comes and sits on the couch with me, eating his pop tart.
"So we need to go get some shower stuff" I said.
He nodded his head at me. He stopped eating and just sat there.
"What's wrong?" I asked with worry written on my face. I just realized he is sitting in the pillow that has my sketch book under it.
He turns around and picks up the pillow and pulls out my sketch book.
'Shit'
"What's this?" he said smirking.
"That's my sketch book" I said and tried to snatch it from his hand but he pulled back.
"Oh really?" he said smirking once again. He opened the book and I shut it.
"What? I can't look?" he said.
"No!!" I said/yelled and pulled the book from his hands.
"Why?"
"Because I don't want you to!"
"What did you draw me or something?" he said wiggling his eyebrows.
I blushed and turned away so he couldn't see me. "In your dreams!" I said.
"You sure?" he said and got really close to me.
"Positive. Why would I draw you?" I said a little harsher than I intended.
A small look of hurt came to his face and he backed away. He shrugged.
'Did I just hurt his feelings?! No that can't be! Can it?! Haley what are you thinking?! No it probably means nothing he doesn't like you like that!'
I sighed and mumbled a sorry to him. He nodded as if its-cool.
"So we should..um..you know get ready.." I said.
He nodded and we got up. He got his clothes and went to go change in the bathroom like always. I closed the door and put on my Black Butler shirt and skinny jeans with my black boots. I put my hair up in a high ponytail and put on some eyeliner and mascara like always. What?! It may be the zombie apocalypse but I still got to look good especially in front of my crush!
I went out and Erin was fixing his hair in the bathroom. He was wearing his Black Butler shirt too! I walked in and smiled at him.
"Ready?" I asked.
He smiled and nodded a yes. We went outside and I locked up. He grabbed my hand and held it. I blush like always and he laughed. Then he did something that surprised me. He put his arm on my shoulder! I was red. He laughed.
"Why must you always make me blush?" I asked.
"Because you look cute when you blush~" he smiled. This just made me blush more which I don't even know how that possible being as red as I am now.
We walked into what used to be Walmart, and went to the bathroom section. I got out my backpack and started to put in shampoo and conditioner. I heard something and turned around to come face to face with a runner!
ERIN'S POV
I heard Haley scream and I rushed over to her. I was in the art section just looking around. When I got there I saw Haley with a runner attacking her! I shot it and looked around for any others. It looks like this was the only one here.
"Erin" Haley said. I turned around to her and saw that she had a bite mark on her arm.
'Oh god no'
"H-Haley you'll be okay!" I rushed to her side. I held her in my arms.
"Erin we both know I won't.." she said. I saw a tear run down her face. I could feel myself about to shed a tear or two. This is the girl I love! You would do the same if it was you!
"Shh don't say that" I said and felt a tear fall.
"Erin" she looked at me.
I smiled as the best I could. "Yes?"
"I love you." she said and smiled at me.
I couldn't believe the girl I love loves me back and she will die soon.
"I love you too" I kissed her. She kissed back and wrapped her arms around me. Her lips moved perfectly against mine as if we were made for each other. I licked her bottom lip asking for entrance which she gladly gave.
Our tongues wrestled for a little and I let her win. Then after a little longer we broke away gasping for air."Haley I have loved you ever since I met you" I said and hugged her tight.
"I have too" she said and wrapped her arms around me.
"Let's go home" I said and let go.
She nodded and we both got up. We both know she only has a few hours until the fever sets in... I wish it was me who got bitten and not her..
When we got home I locked up and Haley went to our room. I went in there with her. We laid down on the bed together me holding her in my arms and her hugging back. She was crying a little at first realizing that she would become one of them and that we won't be together. She fell asleep and I put my hand in her forehead.
'She should have a fever by now but she doesn't. What does this mean?'
OOOO cliffhanger! Hope you all liked it! Sorry my writing skills were awful at the begging but they are getting a lot better please keep reading! I love you my fluffy bunnies!
