Chapter nine
HALEY'S POV
I woke the next morning to find the bed empty. I smiled at what happened last night and about Dillion coming back. I yawned and stretched, then swung my legs over the side and got up. I walked into the living room and found no trace of Dillion. Nothing. The couch bed was closed up and his shoes weren't by the door.
"Where's Dillion?" I asked Erin who was sitting on the couch.
"What do you mean?" he looked at me confused.
"Dillion. Where is he?" I asked again.
"Haley remember he....you know.."
He said getting up and coming over to me.
"No he was fine We found him yesterday! Dont you remember?!" Dillion was here I know it.
"Haley we didn't even go out yesterday.." Erin looked at me like I was crazy.
"We d-didn't..?" I felt like crying.
"Haley I'm sorry but we didn't. We stayed home."
"So I j-just made this up?!"
"I never said that"
"How long was I asleep?" I asked looking and the floor.
"Since 6:00 pm-"
"What time is it now?" I cut him off.
"It's 1:00 pm you slept for a long time" he walked towards me. "Do you think it was a dream?" He asked and put a hand on my shoulder while trying to get me to look at him.
"I-it could be but....i-it was so r-real.. I felt him hugging me and you..you kissing m-me.. don't tell me it was a dream...." I started to cry silently.
"Haley I'm sorry but I think I was" he hugged me and I started sobbing.
I can't even believe it was a dream. It felt so real! Everything that happened with me,Dillion, and Erin was just a dream?! I just can't believe it! I'm so upset right now. I don't know if I'll ever stop crying. I really thought he was back and that Erin liked me! Now I kinda believe its a dream. Erin wouldn't like me.. I should have known. Only I would dream something like that.
We stayed there for a long time. Me crying and Erin saying 'It's okay Haley ' over and over again. I stopped crying and stood there hugging him.
"Thanks Erin" I get out of the hug and wipe my face.
He smiles a wipes a tear off my cheek. I slightly smile.
"So about me kissing you?" he grins and wiggles his eyebrows.
I turn red as a tomato. "Shut up!"
He laughs.
" Was I a good kisser?" he comes closer to me.
"In your dreams!" I push him off.
"No! In yours!" he laughs.
I roll my eyes and give a 'whatever' and go to eat kitchen to get something to eat.
ERIN'S POV
'I can't believe Haley dreamed of us kissing! Does this mean she likes me?!' I think to myself. I plop down on the couch and watch some TV. Haley comes over with a bowl of cereal and sets it on the table, then flips her hair over and puts it up in a bun on top and her head. She sit down next to me, smiles at me, and grabs her cereal and turns to the TV.
I get close to her and whisper in her ear. "Do you know how beautiful you are?"
She blushes and turns towards me.
"I'm b-beautiful?" she asks.
"Your the most beautiful thing I have ever seen" I smile and kiss her cheek.
She turns red as a rose. I laugh. "T-thanks"
"Your very welcome" I turn back towards the TV smiling.
'Haley I am in love with you' I say to myself.
