Chapter 20

The holiday is now over. It went in a flash but I must admit, I had the best time thanks the Dre.

We've gotten extremely close to each other and I am happy. He made my life worth having.

At first I must say I was hesitant about him but now I don't care what people say. Evertime I'm with him my heart at an even faster paste and I think her nervous just seeing him. It had been dawning on me that the feelings u have for him is beyond explainable.

I love him so much that I sometimes think it's a dream. I mean what's a boy like him doing with a book worm like me. I ask myself that question everyday but still have gotten no answers.

Now that my friends bailed on me I only have Lia and Dre. I couldn't ask for anything more. Just having the both of them by my side make me the happiest girl. As I once hear it's only you real friends that make you happy.

It's now Wednesday afternoon and everything is okay the way I see it. No Rebecca and her antics and I have not even seen those people I used to call friends.

Ring!!! Ring!!!  Ring!!!
That's the bell that signals that is time for lunch so I packed my bag and start heading to the canteen where I see Lia.

"Lia!" "Lia! Wait up. " My voice is a little small so it's a chance Lia hear me. I saw she turned around meaning she heard me and smiled.

I ran to her as fast as I could and jumped to hugged her. I haven't seen her over the holidays because she went to St. Lucia where her grandparents resides so I missed her so much.

We both landed on the floor and started laughing like two idiots and the entire cafeteria silenced and stared at us as if grew an extra head,  but we don't care.  We started talking about how we spent our holiday as we got out food the headed to out new spot because our old friends occupied our old bench.

"Hey cupcake." I knew that voice anywhere, it was Dre. As I tired and looked at him my smile started to reach my ears. God I am glad to see him.

"Hi" I told him as he sat beside me. Why is he sitting beside me thou, isn't his friends going to say something? I asked my self.

"It's okay cupcake I don't really care what they think but it seems like they're cool with it." He turned a said then turned to Lia. "Did I say it out loud?? I really need to stop that."

"Hey Lia" her  hazel eyes looked his direction and mumble a "Mhmm" and turned back to her food. We are both food lovers but she eats way more than me and the thing is we're not gaining any wait.

How sad. Not like I would want to get any fatter but come on where is the food going then. Shaking the thoughts from my head I turned back to Dre.

We started talking about random stuff and Lia came in once she finished eating. Both of them seem to be trying at talking to each other and I am elated for that.
