I ran to the door. It was lock. " What the hell!" I pulled on it so hard that I cut my palm of the hard, rusted, edge. Oh, great! I heard him coming down the stair. Upstairs I stabbed him with a broken bed post laying next me. He wasn't ready for it because he was too busy kissing me.

Once he was on the ground, I ran out the room and down the stairs into a room with the exit door into the gardens. I used to love the door leading out because it had copper roses engraved in it. But as of now, I hate this door. I couldn't even get it to budge. And, then, all of a sudden something took over me and I brought my foot up and slammed it on the handle.

The door handle broke off and the door swung open. I guess it was the will to live? I didnt have time to ask questions. I ran out into the garden and dived into a near by bush. I heard him breathing heavily and I could smell the rusty, too sweet, smell of his blood.

" Annette, please," I heard him gasp. " Darling, dont run from me. We were meant to be, " I could see him stumbling around the garden, through the leaves. " You were meant to cure me." I saw him fall to his knees and lifted his head heaven-wards.

" ANNETTE!!!!!" he yelled, in pure agony.

I sat straight up in bed. I was covered in sweat and my heart felt like it'd pound out of my chest. The clock by my bed read 2:30 am. God. That was way scarier than the dream before. How weird that it was simular too the dream before. It was like a T.V. series. And the way he said Annette... It shook me down to my bones... I got up and walked to the window.

My bedroom was pretty simple. I had a regular closet on the right wall I had my bed on the left wall and the door in between with my dresser and next to the closet door was the bathroom door that was connected with the spare room. I looked outside. The moon was full and shined so bright that it wasn't hard to see anything out there. It was beautiful. I could see the woods that stretched out for miles and miles. It was all like a mystical wonderland. Especially with the fireflies and the slight fog outside. Natures beauty. I started looking straight out passes all the tree tops and you could see the top of my grandparents castle.

It truly was a castle. My grandfather was a royal over in Ireland. He came here in search of a suitable bride to bring home but then he met my grandmother who was Cherokee Indian and was very much involved with her heritage. So, they married and she wanted him to stay here but, he was still a royal. So, he built a castle and it's been in our name since. Very romantic.

I couldnt stop staring at it. Something was off. My brain was still pretty fuzzy with sleep so I couldn't pin point it. Oh, well. I turned to go back to bed.

" Annette.."

My head swung so fast around that I know for a fact thats going to hurt my neck later. I looked out the window and I saw the castle. The window at the very top... It had a light on...

I was staring at it trying to figure out how there was a light when there wasn't any electricity in the old castle, then my alarm for 7:30am went off. It scared me and I tore my eyes away from the window. How could it be..? It was only 2:30 a second ago... Five whole hours?? Oh, my, God... Then, I remembered why I had the alarmed set and grabbed my work clothes and left my room.

" It was so weird, Izzy." I said to Issac as he lifted the safty boat out of the water.

We work at 'Old Aunt Chellys safty boat school'. We got a job here when we were freshman and we never complained once. It was nice. We get paid extemely well and the hours were great.

" Maybe it was all a dream, Aila. Remember when you were saying something about bad dreams with your grandparents castle? Maybe this was the dream, too?" he was looking at me. His face was calm but his eyes looked paniced. Only someone who knows him well enough could see the slight panic in his eyes.

" No. I just woke up from the dream. I mean, Issac, how can 5 hours pass in 5 seconds?! There's something wrong with that castle. I'm going tonight." I said it all confident and then said in a small voice    " Would you like to come with me? "

" No! God, Aila, that place is falling apart. Who knows what kind of animals are living in there?" he shook his head as he went to the customers to recieve the money from the boating lessons.

" That's what I plan on finding out," I mumumerd. I said it quietly but Issac turned his head towards me and his eyes were hard to see from this distance but I knew he heard me. Even over the distance.

I pulled my sunglasses on and turned away toward the car.

Towards my destiny.
