Cloverpaw padded slowly toward toward Cloudstorm to buy time for her dilemma. Thoughts spun even harder in her head than they had when Berrystar appointed Cloudstorm to her. Berrystar doesn't know what she's doing. Petalpaw is forcing me to kill him, sorta. And now I have to go training with him. When I know battle moves, Petalpaw will try and make her move. Cloverpaw sighed, and Cloudstorm turned around from Freezinglight. He gave her a smile.

"Ready to go out now, Cloverpaw?" He meowed, with very distinct happiness. That's strange. Last time we encountered he wanted to rip Petalpaw's pelt off...

"Yeah, about that." Cloverpaw meowed, some slight disgust in her tone. "I don't think-"

"Hey, Cloudstorm! Cloverpaw!" Duskfeather's voice rang as she and Petalpaw padded toward Cloverpaw and Cloudstorm. "Want to come with us? I'm just going to show Petalpaw the territory." Great...

Cloudstorm dipped his head to the warrior. "Sure! I'm sure we'd like it. Right, Cloverpaw?" Cloudstorm gazed down at Cloverpaw and prodded her shoulder. "You seem quiet," he remarked with a laugh.

Petalpaw growled. "She's quiet cause she-"

"I'll go," Cloverpaw interrupted with a glare at Petalpaw. "I'm sure we can all agree that it would be better in case we encounter any danger."

Duskfeather nodded. "Yes, that would be best. Though only me and Cloudstorm could fight off whatever it would be. And you two will have to run back to camp to get reinforcements." She prodded Petalpaw. "Let's go!"

Cloudstorm bounded after the two in leaps and bounds. Cloverpaw followed with a worried glance around her surroundings. I should buck up. It's my first time out of camp. Petalpaw would be too distracted to think about killing Cloudstorm. She shook her head. Though the training grounds might remind her...

Cloverpaw burst out of the camp and stared in awe of the forest beyond. The forest was almost just as Sandfire had told her in her stories: thick bushes, trees that were taller than anything she has seen, leaves littered the ground, rustling sounds in the bushes, and the sun shone only through spots that had no growth. This is amazing! Just as Sandfire had said!

Cloudstorm's laugh sounded behind her once more. "Yeah, I was surprised at all this when I was your age." He meowed looking around him. "It does get boring though as you get more familiar with it." I don't think I'll ever get bored with it! Everything looks so majestic!

"C'mon," Cloudstorm meowed," "Let's catch up with Petalpaw and Duskfeather." He padded down through the forest. Might as well follow. Cloverpaw bounded forward, catching up to her mentor.

She looked around herself: the sounds of rustling prey seemed abundant. Cloverpaw looked to her left and finally saw Petalpaw and Duskfeather at the training area. It looks kind of rough. But that sure is one big tree!

Cloverpaw and Cloudstorm padded over to the two cats. Cloverpaw went to sit beside her sister when she heard a whisper sound behind her. She looked back slowly and saw a pair of amber eyes looking at her. She scented the air for an attempt to identify the cat. It smells weird... mostly smells like rabbits and hares.... Her eyes widened. Wait...

"C-Cloudstorm! Duskfeather!" Cloverpaw yowled, rushing toward them. The two warriors looked down at her, confused. "What is it, Cloverpaw?"

"In-Intru-" Cloverpaw was cut off when a furious yowl sounded in the bushes where the pair of eyes had been. And four cats burst out of the bushes with furious eyes and unsheathed claws. Cloverpaw backed two pawsteps away before she heard a shocked yowl from her sister. She whipped her head over to Petalpaw's direction only to find her sister was pinned down by a large orange tom. P-Petalpaw!

"Cloverpaw! Run back to camp, now!" Cloudstorm snarled, before barreling into a grey tabby she-cat. "WindClan scum! What are you doing in ThunderClan territory?!"

The orange tom looked down at Petalpaw, then looked up at Cloudstorm. "We have come here in order to send a message, Cloudstorm." He snarled and Cloverpaw noticed the tom's large claws dug into the ground. Those claws are long! Oh StarClan, I hope they don't dig into Petalpaw... or me...

Duskfeather lashed her tail. "You cannot be serious, Antstar! You come here, pin down a first time apprentice.... my apprentice, and say that you have a message? You must be joking!" Duskfeather spat at Antstar and whirled around to the other warriors. "And you three! How can you follow a leader as mouse-brained as him?"

The pinned grey tabby she-cat looked at Duskfeather with deadly eyes. In an instant, she kicked Cloudstorm off and ran to Duskfeather with unsheathed claws. The she yowled, "You shut your muzzle, fox-dung!" The she ripped Duskfeather's neck with her claws.

"Duskfeather!" Cloudstorm wailed and clawed at the grey she-cat's eyes to get her away. The she yowled in pain, falling over.

Duskfeather laid still, her chest not heaving and her eyes staring at nothing. Cloudstorm snarled and whipped around to Antstar. "You run a Clan of murderers! WindClan has gone rogue! This is the third warrior you have killed from us just to talk to Berrystar! Get out!"
