Tori Vega's POV

When Monday rolls around, i'm still uncertain about what Cat had told me. Should I trust everything she tells me? I trust her as a person, of course. It's just, I wonder how much of what she says is in her own little world or not. If you know what I mean.

I feel bad for not completely listening to Andre at the moment as he tells me about a song he's writing, I just can't help but look around the halls and search for Jade. I'm just really hoping that she show's up today, I defiantly need to talk to her as soon as possible. I just gained her as a friend, and I don't want to lose her already.

Andre and I walk into Sikowitz's classroom when the bell rings, meeting up with Cat to sit by her. I'm between my two friends kind of wishing I wern't, if Jade shows up, I would like to sit by her. These two will have to do though considering that when the late bell comes along and there is still no Jade present to sit by.

Beck smiles and waves at me though making me chuckle, he seems like a nice guy. When class starts though, my mind replays the last moment I was with Jade. She seemed so hurt and angry at the same time, I just hope she's in a better mood today. Hopefully she'll accept my apology, well if she ever shows up today. We do have rehearsal today an hour after school, so she has to show up to that.

Her absence though begins to bother me, the longer I don't see her, the more anxious and doubtful I become. The day seems to go by too slow for my liking, it's all because of her too. God, when did I become this obsessed and crushing teenager like you see in the movies? Or read in the books?

Around lunch, we go out for lunch instead of staying at the school and getting something to eat there. We find some small cafe to eat at, it's actually quite pleasant. It has a warm feeling to it, I can  just imagine Jade sitting by the window here with a cup of coffee in her hands as she listens to the soft music.

" I'll go find us a table. " Andre smiles before going off further into the cafe, the rest of us stand in line while each ordering our food.

" So how is Tori today? " Beck steps beside me with a friendly smile, arms crossed in a playful stance.

" Tori is doing okay today, how is Beck doing today? " I ask playing along, we both shuffle forward getting closer to the ordering register.

" Beck is excellent actually. " He shares grinning making me smile, he kicks his boot against the ground suddenly looking shy.

" Oh, and is there a specific reason for that? " I question still playing along with his funny use of words in the third person.

" Oh yes, there is a reason. Beck gets to stand next to a pretty girl for a bit while ordering his food. " Beck then grins making me suddenly blush and my smile drop in surprise, he smirks at my reaction making me blush even more.

" Thanks Beck! " Cat then squeals on the other side of him. He chuckles before walking up to take his order. I stand there speechless unsure of how to respond, I don't know how to feel about Beck flirting with me. I think of Jade and about what Cat had said, it just makes me wish even more that Jade was here.

After ordering my food, I wait to go join my friends at the table Andre had found. I instead call her needing this anxious feeling inside of me to disappear. She doesn't pick up though which isn't too surprising, I really was just hoping for a miracle though.

A small miracle does occur though, a text from her immediately pops up on my phone.

What do you want?

At least she texted me, I tell myself. After many moments of contemplating on what to send back, I finally just ask her if we can talk after school hoping that won't set her off. I walk back to the table of friends putting on a smile that I know needs more convincing to look real. I'm just so worried.
